Astoria Retreat Bed & Breakfast

We arrived very exhausted need to get in hurry otherwise fast out driving long way..and no rest..we are elderly couple..just looking the nearest hotel and this bed and breakfast are the closest so we book in..find out is car parking open area and the door need code to get in..OMG almost cry ..but the owner help and very relief after that..thanks so much..we sleep well go home early next morning.

All we like but too much security to get in when tired is no easy..

I required one night's accommodation in transit and despite being a long weekend, Natalie & MIchael were able to offer this without requesting a minimum of two nights. Communication with Natalie was prompt & responsive from the beginning and MIchael met me at the property to let me in and show me the entry procedures, shared kitchenette facilities and room air con, TV etc. Due to Covid measures, a continental breakfast was available in my room and a shared fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster were available in the kitchenette area for use. I was in room 2 with ensuite, which was comfortable and quiet. I felt safe as a solo traveller and there was no noise in the neighborhood during the night. On site parking was provided at the front of the property in a large paved driveway area. Good location.

Would have loved to have been able to experience the garden area & stayed a bit longer & relaxed, but no complaints.

Quiet, private, with good service and facilities

Not major issues, but there was no hair-dryer available, and the continental breakfast was very basic, toast (a good selection of spreads provided) and cornflakes, there was no fruit or yoghurt or anything else.

It is so easy to use, clean, and a great setup. Breakfast and amenities were amazing. The information provided was very easy to understand.

There is nothing to dislike

Clean and near where we needed to stay. Clear instructions for getting there and checking in.

Bed too small and air-conditioned had a 2 hour timer.

The property was clean, tidy, welcoming and beautiful presented.

We liked everything of the property.

The humongous bathroom was amazing!!

Access to shared walkway with other rooms via door which was creaky, made for comings and goings a little uncomfortable at times.

Self check in/ out service - very easy to use. Really enjoyed my stay

Property was perfect for the purpose, a short work related trip in the area.
