Boathouse Resort Studios and Suites

We had an amazing stay at the resort. The team, Bec and Jess, were super lovely from the first phone call, with tips and help during our stay, and a friendly good bye when we were leaving. Bed was super comfy. Fridge was big which was great. We cycled to the ocean beach and back (4.5km), and went lots of times to the beach 50m from the property. Shops (Cafe, sushi bar, IGA, bottle shop, and boutiqes) are only about 100m away, which was great. The restaurant on site had excellent food and does take away. We as well went to the Peninsula Hot Springs 15min car drive, Sorrento for some retail therapy less than 10min drive, and Rye (8min) for a bike ride along the foreshore. In Rye we as well had a yummy ice cream and the playground was great for the 3 and 5 year old kids. Felt super welcome, hope to get back soon!

I loved that the room had a full size fridge, cook top and microwave, the pool was just amazing! Half of it is under shade which was great for our young children, only a 5min drive to Rye and Sorrento very good location. Blairgowrie beach is right across the road but on this particular day it didnt really look very inviting so we just drove to Rye. Love that there was powerpoints on either side of the bed. I was impressed with how clean the room was and this alone is a huge selling point for me. Having a restaurant on site and a coffee shop just across the road was also nice. Dvd player in the room kept our kids entertained at night. Reception staff were lovely, friendly and professional.

The bed was too high for small children (not a big thing offcourse but was just not ideal for us) The shower pressure and fan could be better and some fly screen doors would be great so you can leave the doors open to let in some fresh air at night. Some little extra's like small jams and maybe 4 milks instead of 2 would have been great given that we booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children so even though the milks are intended for coffee, given that we paid for 4 people I think 4 small milks wouldnt break the bank too much (the property did offer to give us some extra milks after I enquired but I just think it should be the standard without asking) All very minor things, overall a wonderful stay.

Location was great for me as I travelled on Public Transport...the bus stop is just around the corner. A few minutes walk to the beach, cafes and shops and buses every 30 minutes to travel easily to nearby towns. Near the main road but not as much noise noticed as I thought there would be...the doors are quite soundproofed. Very clean spacious studios with everything you need in there. Comfortable King size bed and modern furnishings and bathroom. WiFi was okay for internet services. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved my stay here and will return but will get an upstairs room with a balcony next time ( not available this stay). Easy check in and out. Lovely quiet clean pool area and Panda restaurant on site worth a visit.

My only comment here is it would have been nice to have had a couple of cushions on the sofa.

My daughter and I were staying here for her Birthday. We planned a trip to the Hot Springs which is a short drive from the Boathouse Resort. It's conveniently close to local cafes and Shops & a lovely stroll down to the foreshore. The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything you need and there's a heated pool, which we didn't get to use but we did dip our toes in to test the water. Very inviting. We arrived late in the evening and self check in was easy and there are plenty of parking spaces. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property I definitely would stay here again.

The only thing I could fault was the tea towel I was supplied with had a patch of dried food or a squished moth on it. It was a little hard to telll. When no dish rack is supplied I like to use one towel to drip dry my cups & bowls on while I'm washing the other to dry with, so maybe supplying two towel would be great. This in no way effected our stay.

The property was close to the beach and easy walking distance to shops and cafes. The accomodation had all we needed, the bed was comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our spa bath. The receptionist was friendly and showed us where our room was when we arrived and she gave us few tips on where to eat out. It had a nice pool area although the weekend we went was a little cool for a swim.

We didn’t like the fact that you could easily hear your neighbours upstairs. The apartment felt a little small with couch too close to the TV. Other than that everything was good.

The room was huge! Everything was clean and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen with thoughtful additions like dishwashing detergent, and milk in the fridge. Excellent location right near the water. The staff were friendly, responsive to messages and very kindly accommodated our request for an earlier check-in. Would definitely stay again in future.

Pillows were a bit flat and the electric blanket (in one room at least) didn’t seem to warm up the bed despite being on the highest setting.

King Suite with Spa Bath is a spacious, well appointed room. Decore level is mixed: from good to excellent. Very comfortable huge thick double bed. Relaxing lounge/TV sofa area. Ensuite shower marble colouring and designed looked amazing. Bath was good to use (didn't use spa feature), big enough for two. Very impressive how pots, pans etc. are very neatly alligned in the draws.

WiFi tempremental. Up a set of stairs. Plain decore to kitchen, bathroom sink and toilet. Toilet seated wouldn't stay up. No scissors in kitchen.

Across from beach, cafes and supermarket 4 minute walk away. Good facilities, spacious, clean and comfortable downstairs room. Staff and front desk super lovely and friendly. Not a far drive from whatever you need along the Nepean.

You could hear the people staying next door moving around and making noise into the night, especially if staying above you. Parking spaces narrow (but glad there was parking onsite).

The Boathouse Suites Studio is an attractive and spacious studio much more generous than most studios with ample storage space. The room has a pleasant and calming decor in soft creams with proper wardrobe, desk , good lighting and plenty of power points. The Kitchenette is neat , well supplied , a large fridge , and good M/W. Good crockery and cutlery . A small table and two chairs. A large sofa with coffee table , and good TV. A huge comfortable bed with doona, blankets, electric blankets, extra pillows ,side tables and lights. Excellent block-out curtains plus sheers on the large sliding door/window for privacy . A spacious, pleasant bathroom with plentiful supplies and good water pressure. Parking is reasonably convenient and the well cared for grounds include a pool. Reception was helpful and welcoming. A lovely place to stay

Parking is a bit awkward but every guest was thoughtful and considerate about their allocated spot. WE were a bit flummoxed by the address as the entrance is really in side street - The Loop. But these were minor issues as this is a well- managed and well-cared for place to visit.

Everything and the terrific staff. Nothing was too much of a problem. Lovely restaurant attached to the facility. Super beach across the street and great shops and cafes within nice walking distance. We would certainly stay again. Only slight negative is the busy road to cross to get to the beach but there are lights not far away if it is a concern for anyone.
