Nautilus Holiday Apartments

Apartment 214 was incredibly comfortable, spacious, modern and equipped with everything you can think of, even little birthday candles should you wish to bake a birthday cake while staying there. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, all there. Amazing! The owners Sue and Mick were super friendly. They research and book your tours and trips if you like, very convenient. They also let us do a late checkout so we could take a shower after our reef trip before heading back to Cairns.

It's proximity to everywhere also the apartment had everything even down to spices in cupboard ,they even left the 2nd bathroom open for us so had access to washer and dryer which was a bonus enjoyed heated pool

The palm outside our bedroom needs cutting back just 1 or 2 branches as water dripping from roof on our 1st night made it sound like the Chinese water torture so after that I used the broom to move the palm branches then lovely and quiet also couch in lounge is very uncomfortable needs replacing but other than that excellent stay we were in 207

The apartment was located on the main road leading into Port Douglas centre. Walking distance to the Four Mile Beach and shopping/restaurant precinct. Location was great. The apartment was spacious, comfortable (except for the couch LOL) and well appointed. The facilities such as BBQ area and pool were well maintained and clean. On-site parking was a bonus too. Mick and Sue who run the accommodation are very helpful, communicative and friendly - they absolutely lovely to deal with. They go above and beyond!

As alluded to above; the couch was not the most comfortable... Not that we spent a lot of time on it, however it would be great to have a comfortable space to watch a movie with the family in the evening after exploring the sites.

Mike and Sue, the hosts, were very helpful and well informed. They organised the shuttle to and from the airport for us as well as booking trips on our behalf at no cost to us. The pool was great and a nice quiet spot to sit around and take a break. The apartment is located just across the road from a path that leads down to the stunning 4 mile beach. We enjoyed getting out early in the morning and walking along the beach and into town for a coffee. The apartment is spacious and well equipped.

great place for a short stay. kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, plates, cups, mugs but no baking paper/al foil/glad wrap. luckily for us, managed to get some al foil from managers! allowed us to get dinner on the table for the kids! no salt so BYO. otherwise there is almost everything else! the pool area was great but definitely needs insect repellent as otherwise the mossies will have a field day. please apply as directed - thanks for aero guard!

second bedroom - air con not working. so it was a warm few nights. master ensuite bathroom gets rather wet post shower.

The apartment was spacious and clean with a good sized comfortable bed. The location was brilliant, just a short walk to the beach and main street. we had a lovely BBQ lunch at the BBQ located right next to the pool. Additionally, the owners Mick and Sue are really friendly, hospitable and were happy to help with any information regarding tours. We would definitely recommend these apartments if you’re looking at staying in Port Douglas.

Mick and Sue are really nice & friendly, very genuine and want to make your stay in Port Douglas the best experience. Very nice complex, the heated pool was sensational for the below average winter temperatures in 2022, didn't want to get out! Port Douglas is a sensational town, and great to see that its back busy again. Bookings are essential for good Restaurants. All in walking distance, our favorites were Chillys Pizza (Cane Toad Racing), and Salsa Bar is just amazing food & unbelievable service!! A bottle shop is located 2 min walk, 4 Mile Beach Access is 10 min walk. Plenty of car parking, and garages where we stored hire bikes, which were brilliant for beach cycling (Hire from BIKE SHOP AND HIRE 3 Warner St. 15min walk). Will stay again when we come back, thanks!

Excellent location..easy walk to 4 Mile Beach. Perfect for our family of four. Great hosts Mick & Sue went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The facilities were immaculately clean, you can see they take pride in maintaining their property to a very high standard. Mick and Sue are very knowledgeable on things to do in the area and tours. We would highly recommend staying at Nautilus Holiday Apartments!

I fall asleep easily because it is a quiet street. Complete facilities and supplies in the kitchen (Mik made us use his coffee plunger!) dishwasher, air-conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, clean and modernised bathrooms and toilets, washing machine and dryer (the icing on the cake!). Manuals filed neatly in the kitchen drawer. Quick service when a bedroom light started to flicker. Mik suggested eating places which prepared beautifully cooked food. Location is a short drive to supermarket, shops, pizza. Reception area had children's books and toys. The heated pool was just right for kids and for adults as well. Well lighted up to 9 pm. Most of all, Mik and Sue are the epitome of gracious hosts!

Preferred a longer stay but our holiday was over.

The location was very handy to the town and a beach. The facilities in the apartment were exceptional. Dishwasher, washing machine, drier. The children loved the swimming pool. We did not want for anything. Plenty of towels available. ImmacThe manager arranged trips and transport for 5 of us.
