Danat Al Ain Resort

Food was fantastic with a variety of meals on offer. You can also select ingredients to make your breakfast. For those who might be interested, there is a pub serving food and alcoholic beverages next door. This is separate from the main hotel so it does not get in the way of those who do not take alcohol.

My selected room was not available but an alternative was offered which was better than what I booked. So you won’t be stranded if what you booked is not available. I checked in late though. The staff were virtuous and did all they can to make my stay comfortable.

The room is sufficiently large and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is also very clean and big enough. The hotel is on the outskirts of Al Ain, you need a taxi to get into town. The pool and garden area is spacious and beautifully landscaped. There are plenty of sun loungers and it is very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful, thank you very much. The breakfast and dinner are very rich and tasty. We always looked forward to it. Thank you for the lovely stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. Loved the swimming pool and the highlight was the massage. It was one of the best I have experienced in the UAE. Highly recommended. Breakfast was well-organized and delicious. The food from the restaurant was also quite good.

There were many kids on the floor and as the room is not soundproofed it gets a little noisy at times. Also, the check-in took a very long time. We were waiting till almost 4 pm to get room check-in, which is a little disappointing. The reception staff asked to take a twin room instead of a king room which a guest would never accept and adds to the frustration. Staff should provide a better solution if things are delayed.

We have stayed at Danat many times over the past few years. We like the facilities, the Indian restaurant is nice and staff are great. The hotel is family friendly and has a playground and kids pool, as well as a lap pool.

Had a room with a fridge which was great but only two mugs were provided, would have been good to have some glasses and teaspoons at least in the kitchenette area. The room was facing the car park and was incredibly noisy when other guests were honking horns/arriving to the hotel around 3am.

Best thing for was the staff, they were all so nice and willing to talk & help. My kids enjoyed swimming pool and tennis court. The gift shop downstairs had very reasonable prices. It was easy to find/reach it by car, our car was always parked in a shaddow. Everything was great!

The only negative thing is, we couldn’t turn off the AC and we were too cold. It was just not possible. Only resolution was, to leave the balcony doors one tiny bit opened. We called someone to help, but that couldn’t be fixed.

Staff were friendly and helpful Facility was good, room is big enough for family of two. Parking available at the hotel if you have private car. If you are booking this resort for relaxing, make sure not to book a room at the entrance side.

Night club sound very loud and the room was not that sound proof, first night i couldn't sleep because of the guests coming and leaving in a very noisy way especially at 5 am they were literally screaming. The hotel changed my room to the opposite side so it was much better. No slippers and robes.

I liked the room, even its one room, but its big and comfortable, so clean. I liked the bathroom too much, its old fashioned, like vintage style, the tap, bathtub, the shower tap. The garden view was amazing, specialy at night, very calm, there were nothing to bother of. The swimming pool is too clean, and fully equipped, specialy the small cabins. The breakfast is all very delicious. The staff very polite, specialy the receptionist called "Amina", she was very nice.

Nothing in the hotel itself, but there was a guy shouting in the middle of the night, down in the parking, and the security was too calm and he didnt force him to stop shouting. I thought that security guy must be more resolute, he had to tell him that there people sleeping at that time, or he will call the police, cause there were must be a way to make the guy finish his shouting. But its nothing actually, it was for 15 minutes, we went back to sleep, and all was good at the other day.

We really liked the whole package. Good pricing, Good value for everything, good food, exceptional breakfast!, great service and people who really like to be in the hotel industry. Also a nice foot massage for 50AED - what more you want!:) I want to especially mention Faye from the reception here - not only she gave us a nice late checkout and arranged a complimentary cake for our anniversary. This was really customer focused! Great job!

The whole Resort is a little bit oldish and more like an old Hilton. But the people really make it worth it. The Wifi though was pretty slow and I was missing a more versatile power sockets in a Resort. My girl has european standard, I have it as well, both have UAE standards on top for some devices. Would be great to have modern sockets.

Usually, i visited this hotel jus directly went to their Irish Bar "Mcgettigan" with my colleagues, this time it tempted me to give a try to stay in their suite in 9th floor, during cheked in, i requested the reception to give me the suite in the corner on 8th floor with the pool view so beautiful which i already requested earlier, but the reception staff they informed me that suite is not available, Glad that the Front office manager Mrs.Henelyn if im not mistaken her name, she was so helpful and generous, she relocated me to the better suite on 9th floor cause she aware that i have a special gathering with my colleagues from Marriott. the Bellboy if im not mistaken his name is Ravi, he was so helpful and he helped me to get another suite which is exceeded to my expectation, Beautiful view, an Amazing wide balcony, a spacious bedroom and living room, a private pantry/kitchen, comfortable bed and so clean, with guest toilet access and spacious bathroom and changing area attached to the bedroom so huge, im speechless, the private gathering was successful, my colleagues who came and experience the suite really happy and enjoyed the view and the atmosphere. Since i love to vlogging, i will publish soon the footage of my memorable stay in this hotel suite on my youtube channel. Thanks to all the staff who was being so helpful ( Housekeeping and Room service team ), I definitely will come back to experience another suite experience :D

The selection of restaurants in the hotel were very good. There was a bit of everything. I loved the location, we were less than a 8 minute drive from both the Al Ain Oasis and The Mall and only 12 minutes from Al Ain Zoo. The staff were very helpful. After we checked in, we realized there was a wedding right below us outside our room and the music would be loud. As we were there for a relaxing weekend the hotel were very understanding and kindly allowed us to switch rooms to accommodate our needs.

There could be more parking available for such a big hotel.
