Nature Beach Resort, Koh Lanta

Unbeatable location right on one of the best beaches in the island. Walking distance to several good and cheap restaurants. Motorbike hire was easy and price competitive. Staff were great and let us leave our luggage with them for a few days after our stay as we wanted to explore the rest of the island. For the price this place is absolutely perfect and is so much nicer in reality than it looks on Booking! We were pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was. Highly recommended to stay here in Ko Lanta!

My visit to Nature Beach Resort in Ko Lanta marked my third stay, and once again, it proved to be a delightful and enjoyable experience. This family-run resort consistently goes above and beyond to assist and accommodate guests, and its prime location at Kloong Niin Beach adds to its allure. I stayed there for almost three weeks, residing in various rooms and bungalows. The restaurant serves delicious food. It's worth noting that if you want it prepared in the traditional Thai way, you should specify; otherwise, the dishes are typically served with a milder and less spicy flavor. Nature Beach is a perfect and lovely place that I look forward to visiting again.

Ko Lanta is quite busy during the peak season, but thats how it goes with nice locations.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating to the needs of families. The waitstaff were friendly, and had fun games that my 5 year old is still talking about weeks later. Other hotel staff were great and it was nice that their children were around as they became playmates for our child. Room was ok, nothing special, but comfortable with a nice front terrace. Garden area was nice and the bar makes an awesome passion fruit mojito. Bonus points for the food quality. As someone who has lived in Thailand for a long time, I am somewhat skeptical about the authenticity of the Thai dishes at beach front restaurants. Their either try to cater to bland European palates or large volume buffet. The dishes we ate were great (of course we had to ask them to spice them up a bit more) and after we tried a few other beachfront and street side restaurants we determined that this was the best quality for price. The street side restaurant were similarly priced and the other beach restaurants weren't as good.

Place was really nice. It has a calming mood with all the flowers and the quiet beach. Our room was spacious, good sized bathroom with hot water and laid out in a way you don't get the whole thing wet after a shower. Swimming pool was good as well. We miss this place and the whole island. The restaurant had some ambient music going at night, the perfect place to have a drink and watch the stars while sitting by the beach.

The beach itself is more for the looks than for a bath. Waves were strong and dragged you deeper. Not a big deal, as you can walk around and find better spots, but also have the swimming pool. Our room was across the street from the main hotel, way on the back. But it made for a nice walk, as it was full of flowers. Wish there were more vendors and mini marts around, for snacks and quick meals. But there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant loses a point for not having fresh coconuts :~)

The location is fantastic - the restaurant, pool, and common areas are right on the beach. Most of the bungalows and rooms are across the road from the beach, on quiet, garden paths. The rooms are big, bright, with comfortable beds, nice porches with hammocks, a refrigerator and electric kettle, and lines to dry your towels and clothes. The AC works great. The bathroom was clean, with on-demand hot water and good pressure.The staff is really warm and helpful. They have a nice pool, which was always very clean.

The location was brilliant. We stayed on the other side of the road, away from the ocean. We were a little disappointed at first but walking down the beautiful pathway with all the flowers and plants became a welcomed ritual. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant had amazing food at reasonable prices and is located right on the beach. You can rent bikes from the front desk and enquire about transport and tours etc... We organised our bus trip to Surattani and we got a good deal. The ocean was awesome and there was a rinse off shower next to the pool that was really convenient.

Although we knew it was a budget deal and there would be some flaws, we felt that the beds were very uncomfortable and springy. This is an easy problem to rectify.

Typical of the resort style accomodation found in Koh Lanta. As booked, my room was 'forest view' across the road rather than 'beach view', which if you want more peace I'd personally recommend. It was spacious, clean and comfortable enough although a little basic but this is reflected in the price. Nature Beach is set on a lovely part of the beach with a nice pool, restaurant, bar. It's a family friendly sort of place, although there were a few very loud (I'm ashamed to say English) guests as well. As an independent traveller it's not really my style but there's nothing wrong with it if you want this sort of place. Ni who is the queen of reception is very welcoming, funny and efficient. She runs a tight ship :-) It's handy to rent a scooter if you're going to stay here and the hotel has their own to rent at fair prices.

There are some but there isn't much choice of shops or alternative eating places around. The nearest supermarket / 7-11 is a 20 minute walk away.

Taking into account that I probably took one of the cheapest rooms available in the resort, it was definitely a good value for money option. The room was simple and clean. Free water was provided every day. I really liked the resorts beach and the excellent food served at the restaurant. Staff was friendly. I definitely would recommend.

If I had to point out something negative then it would only be that, at least for my apartment, walls were very thin so I was able to hear what was going on next door. For me it wasn’t really a problem.

It’s a nice hotel directly at the beach. We stayed in a budget room with ac. It was a clean room, the ac and wifi worked fine, we had a place outside to dry our beachwear and our room was in a nice garden across the road just a short walk from the pool/beach and reception. The room and furniture were outdated but I can’t complain regarding the low price. The pool was super nice and there were sun beds at the beach. The beach itself was beautiful.

I just wish there would be sun bed cushions for every one of the sun beds and in general, I think the number of sun beds are not enough in high season. We also saw the prices for our room at the reception for the high and shoulder season and I think the price is too high. Of course, it did not affect us but I think I wouldn’t pay triple the price for the room just because there’s more demand.

This place was perfect for our family, with kids between 5 and 11. It is on a lovely sandy beach, the pool is great, there are swings and a volleyball court on the beach. The restaurant is friendly and tasty and good value. Very easy to walk to other places to eat or drink too. Loved the fish bbqs. Amazing sunset. Relaxed vibe and definitely not a party place. The rooms are basic but very fine for the price, we had two interconnected bungalows which could sleep 6 with a nice balcony and quiet location (over the road behind the restaurant, which is a small single lane with limited traffic). Staff will change the room around daily if asked. Drinking water left everyday.

No tea or coffee in the room so bring your own. Kettle and fridge provided.
