Baan Pakgasri Hideaway

Accommodation exceeded our expectations. - First of all the staff was really nice and helpful, you can book everything in the reception - motorbike, speedboat/ferry to another destinations, daily trips, laundry (smelled very nice). - Breakfast was served every morning at the time we've chosen directly to our terrace and it was delicious. - Cleaning was done daily and the whole room including bathroom was always very clean. - I must highlight small details provided which I really appreciated - each bungalow has straw beach mat and beach bag with beautiful hand-painted Baan Pakgasri logo, it was so cute! Also outside shower and water hose in front of each bungalow was handy to wash yourself from sand before you enter bungalow. - The whole area was just beautiful - a lot of plants, sea view and the sound of the waves, it was just amazing. - The big plus is also Klong Nin beach, it's one of the best and calm beaches in Koh Lanta. Definitely will stay here again when we'll return to Koh Lanta.

The only thing which was not so perfect was hard mattress on the bed. But I slept always very well so at the end it was not so big problem. I also missed nightstands.

Room looked out over the beach and sea modern feel with attention to detail. The was bed comfy, slept really well the waves lapping creating a restful ambiance. Breakfast served each morning on the veranda looking out over the sea. Beach was idyllic to waken up too, lovely, clean and not busy. Perfect for long walks on beach

No coffee facilities in room had to go to reception if you wanted a coffee or tea. Just a bit incontinent. Tiles on steps when wet were a bit slippy

I loved my stay at this hotel. I had a beachfront room and loved how the room had its beach area raised above the room...this way i could set out chairs and sunbathe in a little more privacy than directly on the beach.

Although I had a little designated area in front of my room for beach and chairs...other guests would take the chairs and sit in front of my room. I paid for the beachfront and the privacy...I wish the other guests (who were not in a beachfront room) would have respected my space, asked to borrow chairs, and relaxed on the beach and not directly in front of my room. I started to feel like I was a guest in the space that I paid for.

Location

Room windows especially the bathroom windows are very dirty and broken and ,need replacing.. Bathroom very shabby and dated mouldy and broken tiles. Jacuzzi bath broken. Cobwebs on ceiling that can only.be seen at night . Bedside lights need bulbs changing to warm white very cold and too clinical. . Bed and pillows very hard. Broken and old plastic furniture, broken wood around and under the bungalows. No sunloungers even in premium beach front bungalows . Only cheap plastic stained and broken chairs . This Little resort needs the owners to spend some money on the bungalows and some outdoor furniture. The location right on the beach is superb but it could be a lot better with some TLC

A wonderful and beautiful place to stay, good location next to the sea, good atmosphere, suitable for relaxing and working. The breakfast is very good and there is free Wi-Fi. The resort is close to many attractions and delicious restaurants. Tours and snorkeling are available on the island. There are also motorcycles for rent in the resort. The best resort in Koh Lanta

beach is outside your door step it’s absolutely beautiful location and amazing for the price we got to also go down to the Miami’ beach resort down the road and use there amazing infinity pool and you can eat there it’s great staff are wonderful again 10 min walk or less and on beach front room are so clean and cosy best stay I’ve had would come again bedding was also cool and fresh

mattress was hard and they don’t do breakfast on the Porch you have to go to hotel 10 mins away and they offered free ride to that hotel we asked and they didn’t do it

Lee and the women of Baan PAKGASRI are so helpful and lovely! Waking up and having breakfast on your balcony overlooking the ocean is perfect!

AC in both front rooms needs an upgrade.

We booked the room with the sea view, it was perfect. The view is lovely. We appreciated being able to swim in the infinity pool in the other hotel (miami hotel) Notes for improvements? Coffee : Would be great to have kettle and coffee in the room :) Scooters: as staying 5 days we found the price for scooters expensive plus get asked to keep the passports so we booked somewhere else but would have been easier with the hotel itself

hard bed staff said 2 hr to airport. took 3 hr so nearly missed flight could find similar less expensive if you walk around

Breakfast has a choice and there is a service to serve breakfast to the front of the room. The accommodation is very close to the sea, just walk down a few steps to the beach
