Hatzanda Lanta Resort - SHA Extra Plus

Everything! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were so welcoming and helpful. The view from my balcony is a dream! The rooms are gorgeous, the pool is stunning. I extended my stay from 5 nights to 12 nights as I could never leave. You can hire really good scooters. The beach is a 3 min walk away. Restaurants down the road are great. 7,11 2 min walk away. A scooter is helpful to get around koh lanta but not needed as there is enough to do around this hotel. Amazing place! Would definitely come back. I am a solo traveller and this has been perfect and peaceful but there are lots of couples and families too. There are always sunbeds around the pool. 😊

Staff (owners, receptionist, cleaning) was very helpful. Everything is spotlessly clean and properly working. Pool area is very nice, even for children. Beach is only 5 minutes walk. Breakfast is much cheaper on the spot, and there are several locations nearby for breakfast. Great choice of meals for breakfast. Laundry next door.

Owner of breakfast place was rude. Neighbourhood is not very elegant, lot of rubbish in the street.

Clean, spacious rooms. Nice pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Close to beach and nice restaurants. We booked our onward travel to Phi Phi through the hotel (which was cheaper than in a nearby booking office) and were glad we did because our boat off the island got cancelled due to bad weather and the lady in reception let us know and helped us with changing our onward travel plans which we really appreciated. We stayed in the standard double room for 3 nights which was good value for money. We upgraded to the deluxe room for our last night and it was really nice. Both rooms have fridges and kettles. Main difference between the rooms is that the standard room has smaller windows so is a little dark. The superior rooms have big long windows and the deluxe rooms have huge glass windows with sliding doors. The deluxe room is also a bit more modern inside with a nicer bathroom. Its worth the upgrade if it fits your budget but the standard room was also completely fine if not.

My family loved everything here. Went in June, low season, hence nobody around. We were the only family there. Place was well maintained. Vy clean. Friendly staff. Pool was great, warm and clean. Room for 4 pax was spacious. Hotel is near road, walking distance to eating places, 7/11, pharmacy etc. Beach is abt 6min walk but can't swim. Too many rocks. What a shame. Special thanks to Mai & her crew.

I find the bed too hard. I hardly get a goodnight sleep.

Very good sized room with a huge, comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was large and very clean with plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast choices were very good and ample portions.

Location was a little remote being at the southern end of the rather rocky Klong Khong Beach, so a bit of a walk to some of the better restaurants and beach bars.

This was a perfect 4 night stay for us. Lovely room, great terrace, and a good swimming pool. Hotel is small (only about 17 rooms) and friendly. Just off the main road so peaceful at night. Few minutes walk to beach, restaurants, shops. Reception staff very helpful, booked snorkeling through them (fabulous) and they helped with our onward travel arrangements. Highly recommend staying here.

Mai was the absolute best ever. She made sure our stay met our expectations. Will def recommend others to stay.

We didn’t like that there were some ants in our room and that the bed was a little too hard for us but other than that everything was good for the price.

Great value for money! Very clean and super spacious room. A short walk to Khlong Khong Beach which has many restaurants. Nothing fancy, but good honest hospitality. The pool is fantastic too. Sparkling blue and clean.

Spotlessly clean. Well maintained gardens and beautiful pool. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds! Breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely. We would definitely return.

The walls were a bit thin so you can hear the neighbours.
