Hotel Sursee

The hotel is in central location but easy to find and with the historical town centre just a short walk away. There is a good choice of restaurants close by. The Wilder Man was recommended by the very friendly and helpful receptionist, who reserved us a table. It did not disappoint, we enjoyed a great meal there. We stayed one night enroute to the Italian Lakes, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a good choice at the breakfast buffet, and facilities for getting drinks were available throughout the day too. Underground parking was provided with a lift to get you and your luggage to reception.

This is a great little hotel for a stop over. Good location in the centre of town and safe free parking. Friendly helpful staff and free tea and coffee in the dining room. We enjoyed the breakfast but with 30 minutes to go until breakfast finished they would not refresh the empty food trays so not everything was available.

All good for mid priced hotel. Only thing we didn't like was them not refilling the breakfast bar when food ran out. I understand this if breakfast is about to finish but not 30 minutes beforehand.

Staff were very friendly. I had accidentally not booked enough nights and they found us a room even thought it was past the time for reception. That saved us from having to find a place at super late notice. Room was super comfy, very clean. Breakfast was very good.

Would recommend that you verify with them that your room doesnt face onto the breakfast area. Ours was right on the edge of this area and you can hear breakfast starting up. Not so good if you want to sleep in.

Very contemporary, clean, and modern hotel located centrally in the city. Need was large and comfy, and the bathroom top-notch in terms of design, fixtures, and amenities. Parking in the basement right below the hotel makes it a perfect stop-over hotel when traveling by car. Breakfast buffet was not overwhelming, but everything was very fresh and good. The hotel offers free coffee, water, and small snacks which was a nice little surprise. Lots of shopping and dining options are available in close walking distance.

Really not anything to compliant about; just maybe the sound insulation between rooms could be slightly better.

Very friendly staff, always ready to give you information & advices. Very good value for money. Very clever the common fridge downstairs to store stuff during the night. The walk to the lake was great. Dogs are more than welcome (for extra cost of 20 CHF)

A little bit tricky for a late arrival : necessity to give a call. It would have been easier to arrange it only by mail / messge

Nice spacious room with an “upstairs” are for the children to sleep in. They found it quite exciting. Bathroom was ok. Had a good view of the garden. All the staff were really friendly and very welcoming. Nice breakfast, have access to teas and coffees all day long.

I always have a problem with pillows wherever I go. I found them too flat, but it’s not a deal breaker.

Not many programs in TV, cable TV with lots of commercials advices at morning time, still we can complete our program with Netflix 😉

Secure underground parking. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to old town. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and well equipped room.

We stayed on a very hot night and there was no air conditioning. Pillows rather soft.

Very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. Wrong room price was invoiced but it was immediately corrected. Rooms are really nice, modern, spaceous and very clean. Avoid having a room at the groundfloor (breakfast area) if you do not want to be disturbed early in the morning. Free underground parking lot! Hotel in walking distance from city centre and lake (swimming area). Very nice and complete breakfast. Certainly recommend this hotel. Sursee nice place,
