B&B HOTEL Oftringen

I liked the modern design, cleanliness and kind and professional and multilingual staff. Beds were comfortable enough. I liked the “viennoiserie” at breakfast. That’s rare in this part of Switzerland or in Germany. The room was cosy, spacious (as we received an upgrade) and quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or corridor or outside.

Noisy AC that was switching on itself even if I switched it off. Windows, which you cannot open, facing other rooms/parts of the hotel. “German style breakfast” which means terrible coffee (instant powder from a machine?) and no fresh juice and limited variety of options.

The housekeeping and reception staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. We have had a lot of demands due to little one being unwell, so needed all bed changed, and we needed extra iron, pillows and towels during our stay, and forgot things after check-out. They have been absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!

The shower glass is small, so the water comes out of the shower. A solution would be a better floor safety carpet in the bathroom to catch the water. Or a better glass. The room has no fridge or safe, which would be nice. The bed is a bit small, but I know its standard in the hotel, could be a kingsize. The hair dryer could be more powerful

New nice good hotel, comfortable beds, everything perfectly clean, reception staff pleasant and helpful. Location outside of town - next to petrol station and at the road exit , so it is rather for overnight sleep and car is needed. It is not meant to go out in the evening and walk around, except of petrol station where there is a small grocery shop . I find the hotel practical for business travelers.

What I do not like in some of new hotels is that they are constructed in a way that you can not open window - construction does not allow it and you just have air condition which is then challenge to operate, because it seems like it does not react to the increase of temperature. But was full OK for one night stay - arriving late, leaving early.

The hotel is extremely good. It was clean, easy to get to and affordable. But what really surprised me was the staff. So incredibly friendly and helpful. After a long journey from the Netherlands with the carvan, we arrived late at the hotel. But we forgot to bring bed linen. Very stupid of course. But the hotel was kind enough to lend us bed linen, if we promised to return it two weeks later on our return journey. Of course we did and again we had a wonderful night's sleep before we drove back to the Netherlands. This hotel, with it's incredibly kind staff, made our holiday!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Very clean and comfortable hotel close to the motorway. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast buffet was ok, but could have benefitted from more fresh fruit and yoghurt. Parking was extra at CHF 10 - with no reduction for motorcycle.

The staff, the cleanliness, the comfort of the bed and the quiet, all of which enabled a good night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent.

I understood from your website that there was a restaurant. Very definitely the hotel does NOT have a restaurant. There is a nearby Chinese restaurant but it is an entirely separate business. I arrived very tired and hungry after a long drive from London but had no meal before going to bed.

nice and affordable, clean and simple. no frills but no paying for frills either. staff were friendly and helpful, and all’s bilingual. Oftringen is a place without much in it, but Zofingen and Aarburg (each 30 mins or so away in opposite directions) are both picturesque little villages.

location wasn’t great - far from station, close to a motorway (sound insulation was good though).

Since we just needed a place to stop for our final destination, this hotel’s location was perfect for us.

Weird smell in the hallway. It was warm at midnight, we tried to change the temperature but every hour it changed back to 23.5 degrees Celsius automatically.

THE STAFF WERE A CREDIT TO THERE JOB WE WANTED FOR NOTHING AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP

The lady from reception from Brazil Is a shame Is working with humans, She Need to clean house of the pigs and cows! I Will forgive her only because the other reception lady from Thailandia was so perfect and professionale!!!
