I think they could have facilitated their guests with shampoo and conditioner and toothpaste. Honestly a haircomb, soap and a cup is not sufficient. It's quite hard to find things travel size around the area.
The AC wasn't working because it wasn't the season. Regardless of the season, guests should have the option to regulate the room's temperature. I had to open the window at night.
