Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2

Excellent location in Myeongdong. A street opposite the hotel has many Korean bars and restaurants that are not noisy but useful for food and drinks. I stayed in a sky view double. Plenty of space and all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Would not describe as luxury but better than basic business hotel.

There is construction of a new building opposite which is warned at check in but probably should be warned at booking. I was overlooking this on the 12th floor and as it was at ground level at the moment it did not disrupt but could do as the building progresses. Might be worth asking for higher floor and opposite side.

Location - 5 min walk to Euljiro 3-ga station (Exit11 / Exit 12 (with escalator)) and about 10 min walk to Chungmu-ro station. Walking distance (around 10 min) to Myeongdong shopping area and many restaurants nearby. Direct airport limousine bus no. 6015 and alight at Euljiro 3-ga exit 12 station There is also a convenient store (GS25) within the hotel and many coffee places nearby. Room was spacious and clean.

Breakfast - to provide more varieties as we are seeing same cooked food daily. Coffee machine is unable to dispense warm milk.

We booked 2 Hollywood Double rooms. The rooms were incredibly spacious. Appreciated having the mini couch and desk table. The front desk receptionist were nice, helpful, and quick. The housekeepers always greeted us cheerfully when they passed by us in the halls. The location is also very central to major spots in Seoul with plenty of nearby bus stops and subway entrances. Most sites on our itinerary were no more than 20 minutes away by public transportation.

We were travelling with 1 elderly (age 70) and 2 children (age 8). Took a red-eyed flight and reached the hotel around 12pm. I was informed by the check-in staff that our rooms are ready, but unless we pay extra for early-check in, we have to come back again after 3pm. They rather leave the room empty for 3 hours.

In front of my window there was a building under construction, so digging was a bit loud. Breakfast time, is reasonable but I didn't quite like how the person was greeting me or everyone else it was a bit harsh like "you set here" when he was walking me to a table. I'm pretty sure he's a nice guy and didn't mean to be rude or something but this is what I didn't like. In addition, there is one emergency light in front of the mirror which is obviously work in emergency only. But if you need to get something from the closet I need to use my phone flashlight or no need to use it at all.

Large room, very comfortable, staff was responsive and excellent with helping with our many needs, really great breakfast for extra cost but worth it, clean, laundry room very handy (used 3 times), great location, lots of close restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance, rest of museums, entertainments and tourist sites were easily accessed by subway or bus, wonderful experience in a beautiful country!

Honestly, can't think of anything that was problematic or needs not met. And we went through the typhoon here. In fact, it was nice being in a lovely room during a day of intense rain.

Location is perfect, close to many sights and restaurants. The bed is comfortable and the room was nicely cleaned everyday. There are: sofa, desk, mini fridge and a water cooker in the room and a microwave at the floor level (shared between all rooms). After the checkout time there are good and spacious lockers available for 12h for free in the hotel.

Wi-fi was not great. Quite slow and often disconnects. It would be nice if there were better hangers for the towels in the bathroom (although it's not a big issue). Sometimes, you can hear the neighbours if they are loud. The TV is available but it's not a smart TV so apps like Netflix are missing, also it's not possible to connect your laptop with an HDMI cable, because the input is at the back, which is not accessible.

Conveniently located and quiet! Contrary to many of the other reviews included, there was almost no sound or noise disturbance from the construction just opposite the hotel. And my room was directly facing the construction site. The only noise I heard were from the rubbish trucks that came by to pick up the trash from the restaurants opposite. The convenient store at the lobby is also always well-stocked with bento boxes, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks and even hot drinks.

Nothing about the hotel property itself but just note that the entrance to the hotel is often crowded with smokers outside and nearby. There are signs indicating “no smoking zone” but it’s always not heeded.

Wonderful hotel, excellent location, and the staff are delightful. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Seoul.

Location, room size, rooftop area, convenience store in lobby, my room had a view of Seoul Tower Namsan.

strict check in time of 3pm - were not flexible. Iron in the common area on floor did not work however when I notified reception they delivered iron & ironing board to my room for my use for duration of my stay.
