Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro

wonderfully located, within walking distance from Euljiro 3 train station and bus station, close to famous tourist attractions, 2-3 minutes walk to Cheonggyecheon and about 10 minutes walk to Myeongdong and Gwangjang Market, Room: Simple and clean, the bed is comfortable , WiFi has a strong and fast connection, no outside noise to be heard, the staff is friendly and attentive and speaks English, the neighborhood is quiet.

The hotel's location is only 1 minute away from Euljiro Station, Exit 1. It's a walkable distance to Myeongdong Shopping Street. There was also free water by the elevator, and the breakfast was good! The staff was friendly and able to help international guests.

While showering, the water sometimes leaked out the door into the rest of the bathroom space. This wasn't a big deal to me though because it was easily solved by using the bathroom rug to wipe it up.

Everything was mostly great. Location is just right out Euljiro 3-ga Station. There's an underground shopping street from Exit 1 all the way to Myeongdong if wish to keep away from the elements. Near to Exit 11 was a very nice Galbitang and Korean BBQ restaurant that wasn't expensive and tasted so good. We ate there twice. Also a bus ride away from Dongdaemun & walking distance to Cheonggyecheon Stream & Ikseongdong -- all our fav places. There's a Issac Toast nearby too for breakfast. Reception staff was friendly. Housekeeping staff was great too! Since we stayed 7 nights I was wondering if our bedsheets or pillow cases would be changed. Couldn't tell about the sheets but the pillow cases were changed every 2-3 days as noted by the embroidery on the cases. The little pieces of tissue papers I deliberately placed on the floor were also removed, which showed floor was either vacuumed or staff was diligent. There were a lot of space for placing toiletries in room and in bathroom. Basic toiletries were provided. Body wash was good though I didn't use the shampoo so can't comment. Other than toothbrush set and hand soap, you'll have to bring the rest on your own.

Giving 2 pillows per bed would be better cos pillow is rather soft otherwise. Also surprised that the hotel can only assist in calling for taxis to airport and not anywhere else. But this was no issue as we learned to use KakaoT to book our own taxis. A major problem was the room has no night light option. So we had to leave the table lamp turned on so we do not trip onto anything when on toilet trips in the night. Was a bit too bright for comfort.

Hotel is very accessible. Near food places and transportation. The service if the staff was very good.

The room was a little small for us to move around and also fully open all our luggage at the same time

the only problem I had was that many travelers were loud even at night, and you can hear them at thru wall. but as traveling, you get tire and it only bothers you just a bit.

Convenient location served by 3 metro lines. Only a minute away from the metro station and a few minutes from the bus stop for the airport bus to Incheon. Stayed there in 2019. Pleased to find rooms have been refurbished - new carpet, smart control pad for all lights and a/c, nice shower. Green initiative is implemented, meaning free bottled water and electric kettle are no longer provided. Instead there is a purified water dispenser opposite the elevators. lf your room is at the end of the hallway, it is rather inconvenient to go and get some water, particularly hot water. But for the long-term benefits of our planet, slight inconvenience is not an issue.

Steep rate hike compared with last stay in the same month. The price for the refurbishment, perhaps.

Location very close to the metro and airport bus stop is just 3 minutes walk.

Room can be a bit too small for three people

The Location is absolutely perfect near to the Euljiro 3 station and very near to the Central Station. The room was so clean and comfortable that I felt very relaxed and had a sound sleep after a hectic traveling day , each day of my stay. Room service was very quick to respond every time I needed it . Would be booking the same hotel for my next stay and would highly recommend this.

The Room was perfect but it was a little smaller than the ones we are used to . It worked really fine with me during my stay. In the beginning of my stay I felt a little odd and got used to it afterwards.

Great location and very helpful staff. The luggage weighing scale right next to the elevator was a huge help!

Only one bathroom door. So if one is using the shower the door will be closed so the toilet area is open. Water from the shower is coming out that is why we have to ask for additional towels to use as mat. Room a bit small for 3 pax in-spite we booked a family room. Breakfast is the same everyday so if you’re staying for 5 days like we did you might don’t want to include breakfast in your booking. We only used it for three days and ate out for our two remaining days. Anyways there’s restaurants close by.
