Nine Tree Hotel Myeongdong

Great location. You can easily arrive by train. If you arrive to Incheon airport use the automatic ticket machine. Select English and then the station that you want to arrive at . Insert the required money and it will issue you with a ticket. Take the train to Seoul station and then change here to line 4. Myeong dong station is the second stop. Exit the station at exit 8 and you are about 50 yards from the hotel. The hotel is surrounded with coffee shops, restaurants, etc and there is also a night market right on your doorstep. Near exit 8 of the station is also a good place to get a taxi. Taxis here are very good value and can help you see more of the city

Good location. Near to drop off/pick up of airport limo bus (6015) as well as subway station (Myeongdong stn Exit 8) All basic amenities were provided. Room was spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Elderly may find it difficult to climb in/out of bathtub for shower

The hotel was located in an easily-accessible part of Myeongdong, adjacent to a variety of good food, shopping spots, and metro access. Pricing for the triple single bed room was very fair, especially during the peak tourism week.

Space in the room was fairly cramped, and two people could not pass by one another between the foot of a bed and the opposite wall. The walls of the bathtub were raised incredibly high, making stepping in and out of the bathtub/shower somewhat dangerous. Room service cleaning often started early but ended very late, almost near check-in time at 3 PM, making it awkward to return to the room in the middle of the day for any reason.

Location

Elevators. There are only 2 lifts so they get quite busy. And the card reader in the elevator doesn't read the key cards properly so you often get on a different floor because someone calls the lift while you're still trying to select the floor you need to reach. Cleaning staff wasn't cleaning/replacing the dirty spoons we used the day before.

The staff was more than helpful. They were super friendly, with a very open mind and even helped proactively. The hotel is easy to be reached by metro, either from train station or airports. It is in a prefect area to start activities. By foot some attractions can be reached. The room itself, a 3 bed room, was very clean, with comfortable beds and very quiet. Very nice shower!

It was slightly tricky to get into the bathtub to shower and to prevent water from running from behind the curtain to the floor.

The location was superb and literally about 10 to 20m away from the airport bus stop and metro station. If you have large pieces of luggages, take the bus which is more convenient. Right outside the entrance is Coffee Bean if you fancy a cup of coffee and breakfast but there are plenty of place to eat around. At night, the streets comes alive with the night market and you can grab some night snacks. The rooms are clean and there is a coin laundry facility that accepts card. Nothing much to complain except the lifts are not smart so there is tendency of both lifts moving up and down the same way and need to wait longer. There was also a Water filter system that dispense hot and cold water at each floor so you don't need to boil your own water.

The shower door didn't keep the water out so the toilet floor was wet each time we showered.

Location - easy access

Annoying complicated check in procedures! Too many rules and regulations to abide by! Need to agree and sign on many pages!! School hostel's rules and regulations. Had a bad start and bad impression. Charging my credit card 3 weeks ahead of my stay not acceptable at all! Outrageous policy and procedure!!!

The location is excellent; as very convenient to subway exit 2 & 8, and opposite is the meeting points for some tour operators, which is very good. rooms are clean overall. Special mention here. is the front end staff are generally helpful; in particular for Vincent , where he is good and understand customers' concerns and queries. He takes efforts to resolve all my needs , certainly a valuable front end staff of Nine Tree. Another easy, Jenny she is also helpful, take extra mile to help and check the places and penning dwn in details to help me taking the right subway to the rite locations. Good attitude of her as well. I will definitely recommend more friends to come and stay in Nine Tree whenever to Seoul.

only coffee in lounge. perhaps to add hot chocolate or some biscuits at the lounge area, to go with coffee.

Location was fantastic! It was in the middle of everything from shops, venders, restaurants and cafes, to historic sites and points of interests within walking distance, not to mention its proximity to subway stations. The facility itself was excellent for the price. It had all the basics with just the necessary things with the added benefit of cleanliness, pleasant room design and big window. We also liked the spacious lockers available for free after checkout (for 12 hours). This area also had free use of a microwave and a free coffee vending machine. The staff could speak English and all were very helpful. We would definitely come back again.

It was very dry in the room, and there was no humidifier.

The location was perfect. Right in the vicinity of the Myeongdong Night Market so getting food was never an issue. Take-away from the food stalls and easily get back to hotel to enjoy our food in comfort. Or the abundance of restaurants in the area though choices for Muslim-friendly ones are still pretty limited. Cafes just within walking distance away for that morning cup of coffee or late night caffeine binges. Hotel staff were very friendly and fluent in English. Hotel room feels a little small but still okay. Overall, we had great stay.

Very little to dislike except probably the room size. Felt like a squeeze for two adults and a child.
