Seomyeon Brown-dot hotel Gold

Big, comfortable bed. Clean. Room was large but space could have been used better. Free water and coffee. Staff were friendly and accommodating enough and spoke some English but not as warm as the initial message I received from them and didn't reply to my emails. Great location, few minutes walk from MRT station and 10ish minute walk to Seomyeon, which has a lot going on. Toilet had bidet. Decent value for money but breakfast could have been included for the price. Restaurant area where you could sit and hang out.

Some rooms have a bathtub but ours didn't.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed so far - Highly recommended!! The room and bathroom were super spacious and squeaky clean. There’s a big TV with Netflix and the free laundry and dryer were a bonus. The breakfast was delicious and affordable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Brown-Dot very much.

The water heater in our bathroom took a while to heat up but it’s not a big issue at all, just need a little bit of patience.

As a solo female traveler, I found this hotel to be a great stay. It was close to the metro station, so if you go back late at night you still feel safe as it's a short walk from the metro exit. The room was big, and had a desk, which I used to check my emails. With the metro being so close, it was very easy to explore different areas of Busan. My arrival time into Busan was going to be earlier than the hotel check in time, so I came with the idea of leaving my luggage in the hotel. However, it was a nice surprise to be able to check in a little earlier than the official check in time.

Everything was great.

The location is very convenient; 5 minutes from the metro station. The hotel provides a free flow of mineral water, a bonus during the warm weather when we visited Busan.

The room was very spacious & enjoyed Netflix - the massage chair + AC. Free bottled water was on hand, very friendly receptionist, well located to metro plus use of a washer & dryer. An enjoyable 4 night stay.

As a suggestion you may like to think about introducing some western items for the breakfast menu such as bread, toaster, jam, juice & cereal as it offers a variety & we noted that you had a number of international guests that you might like to cater for. It seems that Korean breakfast, lunch & dinner all blend into the same meal vs other cultures offer up a more varied variety. Something to consider.

Very big room, so spacious, bathroom felt newly renovated. Free laundry service. It exceeded all my expectations. We had stay in small guesthouses in seoul before arriving to Busan so it was amazing t finally have some space in a big hotel room. They also provide free coffee (no milk). Our room had a big bathtub, which we used every night and helped our sore legs (from all the walking). I would stay at a Brown Dot hotel again if I were to visit Busan again (or any smaller city in Korea with a Brown dot chain!).

When I drained out the water from the bathtub, you can see the water exit into the shower and small little worms would come out - not a big deal. We never saw these bug when showering, only when bathtub water was emptied.

Sadly I couldn’t go exploring around Busan as I got sick and had to stay in the hotel. However now I can really honestly say that it was a really great hotel. It was cheap for the good quality and cleanliness of the room. When I had a fever and asked the receptionist if she could order me food, it took about only thirty minutes and I had a warm soup delivered. The washing machine and dryer are free, there was free bottled water which saved my life quite literally. Thank you so much for taking care of me Brown Hotel

The hotel was very clean and spacious. Daily room service was appreciated and there is a fridge in the lobby for extra water bottles. The bathroom was very nice and big too. The hotel is very close to Beomnaegol Station so train trips were of ease, and the staff were so friendly. The washing machine, dryer and restaurant are on the second floor (I was a bit confused finding it).

There was a few strands of hair left on the floor when we first checked in. Nothing bad just a little odd.

We got our rooms at a great deal/price with a 50+% discount. Sort of a weird hotel as the rooms look sort of converted from a Motel or other accommodation concept. Apparently some rooms are more dated then others. However, we had one with a beautiful and modern bathroom. The location of the Hotel is great. I recommend to stay in Seomyeon as it’s well connected to other areas of Busan. Owners are very helpful and friendly with is a big plus!

The rooms were big and the facilities generally good, however, the hotel has a somehow weird vibe as the windows are tiny and with reflective glass and the scratched wallpaper has an oldish touch. Sort of reminds me of a typical low-budget motel in Las Vegas while being clean and well-kept

The owner was extremely sweet and kind. She went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable. The room was very spacious. The location is convenient as it is in walking distance of beomnaegol station and 10 min walk to Seomyeon which is the major junction in busan. I wish i could have stayed longer. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and were very happy when I tried to speak to them in my broken korean. The experience was lovely and I hope to visit again.
