Ibis Budget Singapore West Coast

It’s great value for money. I expected it would be super small, but instead, the twin beds were placed in such a way that the space in the room is optimised but they’re still separate from each other. there was also space under the bed to store your luggage and sufficient space on the floor to browse it if needed. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with our key cards and water heater on the first day but they fixed it for us. They even called us the next day to ask if already fixed. when I had to borrow a clothes iron, they had one for the guests. WIFI was decent. The hotel is far from train stations, but taxi or grabcar from a train station is just around 8 SGD. Then there are several bus stops in the area, even one in front of the hotel and it can take you anywhere, with less walking. Their bus system is very easy to use. Lots of good food places nearby, and the area around the hotel is quiet and clean.

the safety box wasn’t working but not a big deal. there were no cabinets but I wasn’t expecting one. no more free water for guests but they did say that the water from the faucet is safe for drinking.

Although the room and bathroom were quite small, but I found it adequate for the price. I really loved the cleanliness of the hotel and perfect service from the staffs. I also enjoyed the location as it was near with the restaurants. If I have another chance to come to Singapore again, I will surely consider to stay in this hotel again.

The only 'con' was that there was no trashcan in the toilet, and it would be very great if the hotel provided trashcan in the bathroom.

Location is ideal and within public transport system. Peaceful. Firdaus, at the front desk, is exceptional, when it comes to guest services. He goes beyond his line of duty, to ensure a memorable stay - an asset to any establishment.

No cupboards, especially if your stay is 6 nights.

Staff is really helpful. They help you in travelling locations, MRT cards and all other things you may need. I have travelled for some work in NUS, great place to stay. Wifi is good, check-in and check-out is done in ease. Thanks for making my stay in your hotel. Satisfied.

The surroundings are fine, especailly near the NUS college, and the bus station is on the front of the hotel door, so the transportation is very conveninet.The staffs are very nice.

The rooms are too small. The room without window had the smell of zai mildew.

The place is clean and strategically located, with a bus stop right infront of the hotel. Makes it easy to take public transport.

Limited eateries around the area. Also I could hear water dripping sound from the air conditioner, though there was no leakage

the staff was really friendly, room was cleaned every day and it was always kept clean, air conditioning was very good (which is important here)

The windows don't open, the bathroom is a small wetroom

Stuffs are very nice and willing to help. The room is very clean and tidy after make up. The receptionist can help you call the taxi at late night.

Hope the toilet can be separated as dry and wet areas for toilet and shower.

Convenient location to NUS. Easy access to transport. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Room size was somewhat small. Especially if you have large luggage.

Conveniently located for someone visiting the university. Room was small but good value for money. Restaurants and laundry around the corner.
