Exe Sao Lazaro

Great place to spend a weekend. We only spent one night but it had 2 swimming pools(kids & adults) and mini-golf which is great to keep kids entertained in the evening after exploring the city/outskirts. The breakfast was amazing and cleanliness too.

As the hotel is based outside the town centre you would need some transport to get you to the town centre. Plus there was no lunch/dinner facilities in the hotel restaurant . So not ideal when travelling with little kids. The hotel did recommend some restaurants in the nearby town which was great but definitely need a car to get to those places.

The size of the room and the bed. The comfort of the bed and the cleanliness. Having a desk, which is excellent for business travellers. The very complete and fresh breakfast. Having a garage is excellent for me when I'm on business, but there is lots of parking area in the outside. Although it's not in the historic centre of Bragança, it's very close and very accessible from the highway.

Unfortunately they don't have a restaurant or even a snack bar inside the hotel. That would be very nice.

Light, bright spacious and modern room. Very well laid out with great bathroom. Kettle for cup of tea. View of the town and castle. Breakfast excellent. Access to the gym and pool if required. Access to their garage for parking of my motorbike. Very reasonable price.

Hotel itself was perfect but if walking into town it was quite a long uphill trek but quite easy.

Spacious, comfortable rooms (though heating in Room 601 was not working well). Spacious, uncramped bathrooms. Convenient parking. Large elevators, in sufficient quantity. Great amenities. Fantastic breakfast with multiple hot options.

Gym closed early (19:00h. Room 601 had defficient heating. Bathrooms need a toilet paper bracket.

The staff is extremely nice, always available to solve any issues and give tips about the city such as restaurants, must seens, and so on. The breakfast is trully amazing, with lots of local products and typical pastries.

They are suffering some remodeling, so there are some unfinished floors, and parts of the hotel weren’t available

A good-sized and clean room with a nice view. Enormous bed and large bathroom. The breakfast buffet is very good, a huge choice of sweet and savoury. There is ample parking and it is free.

The heating (which is done via the AC) is quite noisy so it's better to switch it off during the night.

Some rust in the shower frame The hotel corridor and building is a bit dated The pool complex is located outside the hotel structure So you need to walk through the parking lot to go there and the entry is not obvious.

The staff was excellent and everything was clean and just as pictured. The breakfast was very good and the parking very convenient. We went 2 weekends in a row and will go again.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I didn’t have time to use the spa.

Easy to find with lots of free parking. Staff on reception very friendly. Our room was spacious with a large comfy bed. Breakfast was OK with plenty of choice. No restaurant on site but a pizza place next door and town centre restaurants only a five minute car ride away.

The organization of the breakfast room was a little all over the place, could benefit with a more focused area. Also, for the price it was expected that it had at least a selection of plant based "milks" and yogurts.
