NH Maastricht

Room and bathroom are comfortable and spacious, air conditioner would be a plus. The breakfast is amazing, perfect! and restaurant, bar and living room are sophisticated. Besides, the hotel is next to the train station Maastricht Randwyck.

Good breakfast, large enough rooms, clean in general, very quiet in the evening. There is also a safe deposit box which was a plus for me. The staff was helpful in general and I am grateful. Very good option if you are attending an event at MECC. Taxi from the train station for 12-15 EUR.

Location - might be a bit far from the city center but great if you are attending an event at MECC. Breakfast might get a bit crowded, no restaurant at the moment / just bar, but there is a bistro at MECC if you are hungry. A bit pricey although I booked 2+ months before my stay. WiFi kind of slow, could probable be improved.

Standard clean hotel, dog-friendly, big bed and a bathtub! The dogs got a little basket and food/water bowls from the hotel and some treats which was really sweet! There also is a fully-fenced dog park nearby.

The stay was great, but their Finance/accounting is a bit of a mess: I paid the full amount upon arrival, then saw that a second amount had been taken out of my account during my stay. The reception staff promptly admitted the mistake and assured me the money would be returned asap. It was - however, not in full as they assumed a breakfast had been consumed which wasn’t the case. So I had to follow up with two more emails and eventually received all my money back. So, problem solved, but I would have preferred for this not to have happened in the first place!

I was travelling for work, and the hotel is conveniently near the MECC congress center. Maastricht is small, so I could walk anywhere else in less than 20 minutes. The staff was promptly available at the reception. My room (superior) was spacious.

There was a blackout where the entire hotel was with no electricity. The emergency lights in the staircase did not work (or did not exist?). The staff seemed unprepared. No apologies from the hotel.

Our stay was comfortable and relaxed. The room had everything we needed, and we liked the range of TV channels, including BBC and ITV. The serve-yourself shop was well stocked - we bought a range of things. The staff were friendly and professional, and answered all our queries. We were also very happy with the range and quality of food and drink on offer at breakfast.

The location - although the bus service was very good, both to the station and the city centre, Everything else was great.

Plenty of room with tea/coffee making facilities. Parking available, on site & on road nearby. On site bar/restaurant and food very good. Good breakfast, lots of choice & gluten free availability. Dog friendly & excellent situation as next to MECC.

Cost of parking, over 17€ per night, if parked in car park. However, to be fair, it was possible to park on roadside for about 7€ per day.

The NH hotel is perfectly clean and staf on the reception very kind. The room was comfortable and silent. You can get some drink for free at the hotel bar, if you don't need cleaning every day. There is a wide range of tasty snacks and drinks in the cafeteria near the reception.

The staf at the hotel bar was a little bit oblivious. It's a pitty. Everythink else was OK.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Comfortable bed, quite room, many accessories provided (shoe spoon, shoe cleaning cloth, cream for hands, not only shampoo and conditioner but also hair mask etc) Friendly staff both at reception and restaurant. Speaking of restaurant, the food was very tasty, with a lot of choice for breakfast. Restaurant is still open during lockdown (22.12.2021), but you take food away to eat in your room.

Two single duvets instead of one double. Kettle was old and with calcium stains. One garbage bin didn't have a plastic bag inside. Hotel is close to the train station, but there is nothing to see around the hotel, and it's at least half an hour walk to the center. So location is a bit isolated.

Generally everything was perfect as usual. NH is still the best hotel for our family when coming to Maastricht. Quiet, clean, excellent breakfasts and the restaurant at the whole.

When the soap in the room is over, asked three times different persons at the desk with no result. In the end the cleaning lady on the floor solved this issue after speaking to her directly. Four times for one issue is too much.

The staff was really friendly and we loved everything about breakfast, really rich and with high-quality products. The location is definitely quiet, especially at night. It is possible to reach the city center on foot in about 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, our room was not provided with an air conditioner, but despite that, we slept really well.
