Hotel Bridges House Delft

If you want something fancy with lots of amenities, this is not the hotel for you. If you want somewhere clean, comfortable and welcoming to sleep each night, this is an excellent choice. We had two rooms and both looked out over a canal. The breakfast was, as expected in Europe, a nice buffet of Continental breakfast options. The parking was a bit confusing but the front desk as very helpful in explaining our options. There is a parking garage about 3 blocks away. We could also have parked on the street right in front of the hotel but decided the $36 Euro fee using the automated toll stations was not worth it. You can also park about 1 mile away (outside of the main town) for free.

Excellent location. Very close to the station and the market square. Easy walking distance to TU Delft, where I had several meetings. The apartment was quite spacious, with a loft sleeping area and a very comfortable couch. Fully equipped kitchen meant cooking was a breeze. This is a good place for a longer term stay. Although I did not take up the option, it is possible to eat breakfast in the main hotel.

Why do European apartments have dishwashers but no washing machine for clothes? I can easily wash the dishes but having to find a laundromat and pay a small fortune to wash my clothes was not the best experience.

The quadruple room was clean, tastefully arranged, spacious, The bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was splendid and worth the money. Friendly and efficient staff. The location was good. only a 6-minute walk from Delft train station. There are good restaurants within walking distance.

There is no elevator (However, the hotel staff helped us move in our luggage). Noted an issue with the wifi. We barely had signals at the topmost floor. We didn't see an electric water kettle and tea/coffee supplies in the room though.

The Location is perfect, just on the edge of the hustle and bustle but next to good bars and restaurants/takeaways. Having your own entrance is a big bonus. The Deluxe King apartment is big with very good facilities. A large separate bedroom {two large single beds pushed together} and black out curtains, The kitchen was very useful for cooking our own breakfasts after a late rise.

The stairs up to the room are not for those with mobility issues. We have been to Delft many time but these are the steepest we have encountered especially the turn at the top. The settee is in need of a serious update or a really deep clean, same with the rug.

The Hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk from the train station and within the city center. Quiet room, good view, very clean bathroom, comfortable bed

The room was on the second floor and the hotel hasn't an elevator, so not suitable if you have heavy luggage or have difficulty with the steps. Small detail, the room has an open space closet, not very comfortable for more than 3 nights stay. It is the first hotel ever that charged me (and I am traveling a lot, in a lot of cities and countries) for keeping my luggage at the reception for a couple of hours (for 2,5 hours to be more accurate). The price for the room was already more than the average, I didn't expect that they don't have the courtesy to at least keep the luggage for a few hours for free, as all the other hotels do.

Room and bathroom excellent, as was breakfast and the friendly and helpful staff. Very well situated for activities in the old town of Delft, on a pretty tree-lined street by a canal. Good value for money.

Nothing that bothered me, but there’s no lift (though I didn’t need one and didn’t ask) and the breakfast room is not overly spacious, but it has nice big windows out into the street by the canal and the atmosphere here, and in the whole hotel, I found very pleasant and has lots of character.

The room was big and clean with nice view from the window. The hotel is in the central but quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was satisfying. The reception clerk was nice and very helpful especially with finding the place to park our car.

The stairs are crazy steep, it's really a sport challenge to drag your luggage to the upper floors. The other thing is you have to chose what to turn on: the kettle or the fridge as there is no enough sockets. They charge you 5 euro for storing your luggage after the check-out

I was in a studio round the corner. It is in tne old centre with canal outside. Having a fridge, cooker, microwave and kettle. ( I couldnt use the microwave as it was sparking). I loved the open plan on three levels. I loved the extra hand shower on the side of the bath and the spacious modern bathroom. It was an original in an older house, spacious, bright, simply and brightly decorated. For me, it was exactly all I could want

Only one thing was about the sparking microwave but the catetaker knocked on the door and asked if i needed anything. I told him and he said he would get it fixed

Loved the big giant room they put us in~ double rooms with double beds~ unfortunately, they did not have a duvet or pillow casings on my bed. I survived it for one night.

We did not get a ground floor as told we would and we had to climb two flights of long very steep stairs with dark blue carpet that made it difficult to navigate. This was especially difficult for my mother in law. The landing at the bottom of the first set of stairs was so dark you could not tell it from a dark doorway.

The hotel is exceptionally well located for the centre of Delft, and looks onto a charming canal. We had to park in a car park about 10 minutes walk away for 19.50euros a day. The staff were friendly, and the beds were very comfortable.

I paid for two rooms, one with breakfast and one without, which I thought would have covered two breakfasts, there were three of us and we ended up having to pay for two extra breakfasts which I thought was quite expensive, and was an unexpected bill.
