Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Amersfoort

Situated on the outskirts of the city this hotel is located in a wonderful area of woodland. The hotel is lovely and the staff were very helpful. The room was superb with two single beds, tea and coffee facilities, TV, wifi, and a great view out into the woodland. I was traveling alone by bicycle and found it to be the ideal place to get some rest and also have a nice walk in the forest where you will find the Camp Amersfoort museum. Local shops, supermarkets and restaurants were all within a 10 min walk. Amersfoort is a wonderful city to visit.

The hotel was perfect but they only had bike stands outside that were not covered or very secure. Would be great to see a secure storage shed or room.

It was off the main toad, surrounded by trees and a tranquil environment. The room was well equipped and the bar and breakfast area was well appointed though we did not eat there.

The room was a bit hot but a fan was provided and the windows opened so we were able to control the temperature pretty well. The mattresses were very soft which does not suit our preferences.

Nice room with nice bathroom.

1. We travelled from UK in a Hybrid car and needed charging. It is not clear when booking that you have to have a Dutch charge card to use it. Not a disaster, but it would have been nice to charge the car during our stay. 2. The initial room we were allocated had not been made ready for us so we walked in on dirty towels and dirty bed linen on the beds. This was however dealt with immediately and we were given a different room much nicer too :-)

The staff was very amicable and understanding and spoke flawless English. The hotel has 24/7 check in facility and we reached past midnight at the hotel. The whole process was flawless and we also upgrade to a luxury room and a suite, totally free of cost. Later in the morning, hotel also arranged for a taxi to central station as uber and free mow doesn’t work in that area. All in all, I had a wonderful time at the hotel and would recommend it to everyone.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, the first being last September. It really is a lovely hotel on the outskirts of Amersfoort. The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfy with tea and coffee facilities. I requested a similar room to my previous stay and the hotel obliged. Great value.

perfect for business trip. very comfortable and quite rooms, wide parking area always available, good breakfast with a nice choice between sweet and salty including also continental and local choices. Personal note for the restaurant which offer some very good dishes. staff very kind and always available.

Location is beautiful - in the forests around Amersfoort. Personnel is very friendly and works hard but not everyone is very experienced and as with every place nowadays, there seems to be a shortage here and there. Dinner in restaurant is good and good variety. Breakfast is ok. Room is clean and value for money. Beds were very comfy. The free parking is a plus.

The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable; big bathroom. The location is very good, quiet, although close to motorways. View from the room is very nice: nice woodland! The room was nice and warm when we arrived late on a cold, snowy evening. Staff is very kind and ready to help.

Beds were exceptionally comfortable and the walks surrounding the hotel were lovely. Easy check-in/out and friendly staff. Bathroom was big, shower was excellent.

Heat in the room was difficult to control without opening a window; however, this opens the space up to bugs. Food options were limited and significantly overpriced.

The breakfast & restaurant were great. Comfy beds Lovely location. Friendly/helfpul staff. Very quiet.

The room has dim artificial lighting. Windows opens to the inside instead of out, making it hard to adjust with curtains.
