I booked to stay here 2 nights for Diwali (as a Hindu they kindly said I could join in with the celebrations with everyone there) but due to being in hospital I had to cancel. despite the cancellation period having expired they waived the money due for which I was very grateful for. I came to stay when I was well enough overnight before flight home and fell in love with the place! knowing I was still not well they upgraded me to a room on first floor which was beautiful with a balcony ( bigger than a normal balcony) so I could sit outside when I could. I was so touched and the owner came to ask me how I was and took time to speak to me a couple of times and make sure I was okay and arranged taxi for the airport too. I echo all the other reviews regarding the stunning place it’s just so traditional and the best place I stayed in over my 3 weeks in Nepal! The electric blanket in the bed was amazing ( I stayed in room 1). and the bed super comfortable. it was lovely and quiet and great location. The food is all freshly cooked and prepared and was super delicious! The staff are all so lovely and helpful and genuinely kind hearted! As a lone female I felt very safe here and in location. I cannot recommend this place enough what an amazing hidden jewel. I stayed in Thamel when I arrived and it was too busy and noisy. Patan is definitely much nicer and less busy. The breakfast was amazing and there are lots of choices on the menu for it and you cdd as n choose to have lunch and dinner there too which I did. Stay here you will love it! Thank you everyone 🙏

From the moment we walked into the courtyard of The Inn Patan we were charmed. The owner, Buddha, has restored a 3 story 19th century house into a 9 room inn with meticulous taste. The young staff is ready to handle every need. This inn is not going to have all the facilities of a large mass market hotel, but if you are looking for a relaxing and authentic taste of Nepal you are not going to find a better spot. It is just down a little alleyway from Patan's Durbar Square so you are close to the most important historic areas. Our breakfasts and dinners were very well done; far better than I expected from a small establishment. Don't hesitate to book this tranquil little gem.

I love the location, despite being near Patan Durbar square, where there are temples and museum, the hotel is quiet. Bed and room very comfortable and even being summer, and not having AC, it was comfortable sleeping at night. The Staff was very friendly, picking me from the square and escorted me to the hotel. I arrived and was immediately welcomed with a nice cup of coffee, which I haven't had in a few days. I will definitely come back. It is a shame that tourists don't explore Nepal in all seasons. The hotel also recommended me a guide, who was very kind. Summer is a low season but the rain in the end of the day was nice and didn't interfere with my staying and explorations of Patan. Food was great too.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

A hidden gem that takes you back in time. Superbly located a few minutes away Patan Durbar and close to Thamel by Taxi. Excellent service provided by the Team. We stayed for 2 days and fell in love with the place so much so that we cancelled our booking with another bigger hotel on our way back from Pokhara. The best part of our Trip was savouring the delicious breakfast served here and just soaking in the vibe. A tip is to have the Taxi service provided by them for Airport pick ups as you will need to get into small alleys. I found them to be very honest in their dealings with Driver service providers and honestly a shout out to Mr Buddha for arranging everything for us and guiding us along the way. If you're here and reading this, don't even hesitate or think twice about looking anywhere else. It's great value for money for an experience that money truly can't buy. Thanks guys for making our trip to Kathmandu so, so magical.

Honestly everything was near perfect.

This hotel is really well located just 5 minutes walk from Durbar Square. It is situated down a small alleyway making the location very quiet. It is a beautiful old brick and timber heritage building which has been very tastefully converted into a comfortable hotel whilst retaining all the old interesting features. We stayed in the suite with balconies overlooking the courtyard. It was very spacious and comfortable with a seating area and plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space . The room was very light with good views. It is certainly worth spending that bit extra for the suite. The room also had a good heater which took the edge off the cold in the evenings. The breakfast was served just off the courtyard. There was plenty of choice and it was well cooked and fresh. All the staff were extremely welcoming , helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Everything was good. Pity that all the central area of Patan is being dug up which doesn't make it pedestrian friendly at all especially when it rains. Hopefully that will come to an end in the not too distant future. However this has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel.

I found the Inn as a hidden gem in Patan, even though I planned to stay just for a night , I ended up staying for 4 nights . The Inn is probably where I would alway stay when I’m in patan , it’s beautiful , quiet , comfortable, excellent food and beverages and unbelievably great customer service . The staff and owner are some of the nicest and friendliest people I’ve encountered in Nepal and it doesn’t feel like a hotel but a home away from home . I highly recommend it anyone looking for a comfortable stay and still be around the places you want to visit . Surely I’ll be back for great hospitality . Thank you for such a memorable stay . Couldn’t have wanted more .

Placed in and original (and renovated) building that is over 150 years old, the place offers are very authentic experience. Bathrooms were clean and functional. Excellent location only a couple of minutes from Patan Durbar Square. Charming courtyard that offers a restaurant and a quiet place to sit and relax, despite the central location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. NB: If you are a tall westerner, mind your head :) It is an old building with low ceiling and doors. We did not mind it.

Charming little hotel right beside Durban Swuare Patan, the best Thali dish in the restaurant I had in all my travelling in Nepal. Loved it. Also good for solo travellers as other people are solo and chatty! Not in your face but just v friendly! The owner is chair of the Katmandu Preservation Trust and passionate about restoring old buildings

It’s wonderful. But I had just injured my back and found some of the low doorways a little difficult.

What an absolutely lovely hotel. I arrived after a long flight and got a coffee at the reception. Everyone was so welcoming, and I was able to get my room before the official check in time. They renovated it with a big eye for detail, stunning woodwork, tasteful furniture, even the shampoo bottle was beautiful. You can choose your breakfast from the menu so there are plenty of options. Staff is professional and friendly. Close to Durbar square. Needless to stay this place is absolute value for money, don’t miss out!

This hotel is simply stunning! The local decorations and construction is simple and gorgeous. The location is quiet - down an adorable little alley off a main road, yet right next to Patan Durbar Square and all the wonders of Patan! At night you can hear the bells from the temples dinging in the wind which is a lovely sound. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. Breakfast is very good, as is the coffee. There is a very good little restaurant right next door also. The staff are kind and accommodating and the price is reasonable.

We liked everything! Every so often the internet would stop working for an hour or so, so of you're planning on trying to work from here, this might not be the best location for that - otherwise it was perfect.
