Flemington Hotel

Very close to lake garden, right in front of bicycle rental place. The room we got was newly renovated with floorboards and new toilet. Internet was stable, we were able to hook up tv box and enjoy Netflix. Stunning view from the roof top. Breakfast was so-so, but still nice. Room service was quick. Staffs were friendly.

The rooftop pool closes at 7pm. Meh… and they tried to chase us 10mins before time. Walls, as usual with most hotels are paper thin. There was only a single layer of blackout curtain, no thin privacy layer which was really frustrating. Lights were too much and there’s no setting for low level ambient lux or sleep settings. Toilet has no mechanical ventilation, if u leave the door open, the smell comes into the room, usually from the floor trap.

This hotel offered fantastic views of Taiping lake. The room was adequately furnished and had great service from 2 male front of house staff, Muhammad Fariz and Hafiz. Buffet breakfast was ample in quantity and variety for the standard of accommodation. We also tried the food in the Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor, food was delicious.

Could be a bit crowded on weekend for breakfast. Parking was also tight when hotel is full. Out of 3 nights, 1 night we had to park in the public carspace. Housekeeping were also obliging.

The location near lake garden makes it easier for us to go for a walk. The view was nice even if the room wasn't the lake view room. Parking for hotel guests provided on the basement parking lot. Check in procedure was done in a flash. The room was clean and comfy albeit a bit small. TV and air-con works fine. Hair drier was also prepared. Have connecting door to adjacent room. The shower got hot water. Towels was prepared. Complimentary toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoo and shower gel provided. The pools was clean and the view up there was magnificent. Kiddie pools was large and the depth was just right. The food for breakfast was delicious. Have option from porridge, nasi lemak, fried meehon, and toasts. Breakfast was served buffet style so you can choose and enjoy your meal. Check out was also done quickly by the staff.

No lift from basement parking lot to lobby, have to use stairs. The reception staff was a bit stiff, didn't really smile. No iron in the room, iron and ironing board was provided in the hallway outside the room. The skybar staff was a bit stern in reminding the guests about pools rules etc. The pools depth for adult starts from 4. 5 feet which was quite deep. Not suitable for those who didn't know how to swim. Kiddie pool water was quite dirty, small bits of black thing can be seen floating in the water. Breakfast voucher only for adults while children age 4-12 have to pay RM12 per person. The breakfast food selection was small, could add some small desserts, more bread/pastry etc.

Location of the hotel is right in the town and taiping lake garden. Walking distance to food court and fast food. Hotel provided breakfast and the food are normal but taste goof - fried noodle, nasi lemak, sausages, porridge, toasted bread, omellete, coffee, tea and fruit juice

Well i wont say is i dont like. It is jus the hotel building need a bit of touch up to looks better. The only thing is mayb they can try to do something with parking lots coz it is tremendously limited. It given the security guard who patrol the parking a challenging work.

The rooms were beautifully renovated and upgraded with more modern furniture. A massive improvement that was needed to refresh this iconic hotel. The parking attendant was very helpful in directing my massive car into their indoor parking. As always, love the location in front of the park. I kept going out for walks and to the cafes and eateries nearby.

Limited indoor parking but outdoor parking is available when it's full.

The hotel strategically located near to famous Taiping park. You may have either your morning or evening walk there. It's really family friendly and kids love it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our needs. Breakfast option was simple yet delicious.

Apparently our stay during CNY a bit crowded caused the hotel restaurant was booked for big family dinner. It was hard to find a parking spot and the area was badly traffic jam especially since it was raining days during our 2 night stay.

staff really good especially the security staffs very helpfull for us to get parking which very limited. Dear Management of the hotel, you will not regret if your good office give them better increment as they are very helpful and friendly while doing their job! especially the security staffs.

parking very limited. please find any solution to resolve the matter as this factor may cause visitor/client think twice to book the hotel for the 2nd time.

location. lake is right at hotel’s door step and zoo is just a walk away. awesome.

the a la carte food at the cafe is very poor. the chef needs to revisit his recipes and cooking methods. training training training. simple singapore fried meehoon became black peeper fried meehoon. chicken chop was soggy. wat tan hor was tasteless. the kampong fried rice was ok. to improvise presentation. wat tan hor n sg fried meehoon should be good when they have a chinese restaurant even though from different kitchen. just my thought. chef, I believe, you can do better than this. note: buffet breakfast spread was acceptable, considering the rates we paid. but it can be better without added cost.

The breakfast was good and delicious, room was okay, clean.

the parking lot was really disappointed. parking near to hotel was very limited, i brought my baby, had to carry her and bags. the parking prepared was opposite the main road, in front of the lake which is public parking, no safety at all.

Hotel location is at the lovely lake garden and walking distance to food court, near to zoo. Hotel breakfast is good.

Parking is limited. Counter staff are friendly and approachable which is great but would be better if they can smile a bit, greet and wish guest good morning rather than looking down or talking among staff. Hotel not proactive do not offer tours, maps on places of interest.
