M Boutique Hotel

It's a nice hotel, modern. Price was good and the room was a good size. The gym and laundry facilities were also great.

The location wasn't the most walkable to any sites, not many food options nearby too except for the eateries within the building. If you don't have a car, you would probably end up taking a ehail everywhere, even to the nearby main streets. The room wasn't the cleanest. There was a small stain on the bedsheet and the bathroom glass was cloudy with soap stains. There were also random dust and loose strands of hair around and the towels felt very well used. Service was not particularly warm. But it worked.

It puts you out of you comfort zone, a little> We had the room type of what they call `open bathroom concept` which is really a doorless bathroom. So if you are a couple not comfortable with that, maybe book the normal rooms. It was ok for us. It was clean-ish (it could be better) and for a 5 star review the place should get a re-do on deep cleaning and also a new paint job so that is smells fresher. It is a very humid country so without investing into that, it shows. Without the AC on you will smell the dampiness. Other than that it is pretty cool of a place to stay - good area, walkable, nice concept of the hotel, full amenities & more, helpful staff - we booked a drive with them to the Highlands (great driver - hey Eric!) - and they even kept our huge backpaks before and after our stay so we had an easier time of visiting this lovely town.

it could use a new paint and a deepclean in the bathroom tiles and a change of shower heads the washing machines take a long time to wash and dry (hey, but its free, just take enough time - 2.30 hrs)

We booked the biggest room and we really liked it! Very modern, nice unique design and a lot of space. The bed is big and comfortable. The personnel of the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly! there is also a very nice Japanese restaurant on G flow. Very recommended!

WIFI does not work AT ALL. We spend 3 days at the hotel and it was a big showstopper for us. When you want to relax,it is nice to have a digital detox. But we had to book flights,pay for services and with no Internet it was not possible. Another disappointment - very loud bar in front of the windows. I could not sleep…

Quirky boutique hotel with appealing character. Lovely clean rooms with fabulous decor, interesting lighting and lots of small touches and artwork which made our stay very enjoyable. Small bar fridge for keeping things cold and fresh towels each day. Great Japanese restaurant next door together with a coffee shop as part of the complex. Location was central and easy to get around. F Staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend 🙂tee parking provided.

You do need a car to get around Ipoh. Internet can be a little slow at times.

Style of the hotel. Access to city easy once you know where to go. Option of a nice Japanese restaurant or coffeeshop with some food within the complex and also typical local eateries open in the morning opposite the street.

The Japanese Restaurants are way pricier than normal local restaurants. To walk from hotel to city is doable but in the evening there are a lot of stray dogs running around and there isnt always a pavement where you can walk on. People seem to deive everywhere. The style of the rooms and the hotel look great, but some furniture, some of the used fabrics are impractical for cleaning them properly so there are stained and loads of hidden corners with dust. The frame the bed stands on is impractical as when you get off the bed you walk on a very uncomfortable iron/wooden edge. The edge easiee needs to end where the bed ends or needs to be bigger that the whole foot lands is on the floor. The room to the front is a bit on the louder side as there is a bar opposite that closes late.

The room was comfortably furnished. The bed has the right firmness, i slept so well! my bathroom was the right size, with sufficient towels. The air-conditioning was cold enough! And there's plenty supply of drinking water. All in all, a very good and clean room for resting! It's excellent value for money as they offer single rooms .

Not so ideal if you want to watch TV as the tv is placed along the length of the bed so to watch the tv, you have to sit along the width with legs sticking out

The M Boutique Hotel was very clean and had a rustic-chic vibe, with reclaimed floorboards and an eclectic aesthetic vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful, and the rooms themselves were very nicely styled, if a little small. The close proximity of the two restaurants in the lobby was also greatly appreciated, particularly the coffee shop for early mornings.

The wireless network in the hotel was at times patchy - clearly the bandwidth was not adequate for the amount of guests. I had to zoom into some work calls and unfortunately I dropped out many times due to the poor wifi coverage. Additionally, just a minor issue, but the operators could do slightly more to distinguish this particular M Boutique Hotel from the other one on the other side of town (M Boutique Hotel Station 18) as it is confusing for travellers without local knowledge to know which one is which if they are driving and using Google or Apple Maps, as they are not labelled optimally in said apps.

Beautiful design and with perfectly functioning facilities. The hotel is well located and has free (unguarded) parking. The decortaion is very original with very nice design touches.

Ufortunately, the night we stayed, the local coffee shop in the same building were throwing their annual staff party. They had a very loud karaoke machine until very late which could be heard everywhere. My guess is that this doesn;t happen very often but it did ruin an otherwise excellent stay.

This hotel has a cool vibe, we loved the decor. Staff were nice and welcoming. The restaurants connected to the hotel are really good we enjoyed eating at both places.

Room was very small but as expected. The wifi is TERRIBLE, constantly disconnecting and super slow. Not a great location a decent walk into town or a cheap grab.

Wonderfully designed boutique hotel with lovely rooms and really nice helpful staff.

Let down by the location... its between the old and the new town which looks OK on a map but is a tricky walk from either particularly at night time. I was chased by a group of stray dogs on my way back along the dark main road. Immediate surroundings include one noisy pub and a load of MOT garages.
