1. shower was leaking 2. shower holder very loose 3. shower glass door always a bit ajar 4. toilet host malfunction 5. room carpet needs shampooing 6. no hair dryer

Close to malls. Sizeable and nice stylish room. Clean. The toiletries provided were not bad. Comfortable bed (though prefer if bed is more firm) and nice Herman Miller chair. The hotel staff were very helpful when my mum thought she left her item in the hotel room after check out. They checked and kept me posted on the status. This is what I call good service. Recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to stay around Gurney area.

Wish the malls are connected to the hotel. Entrance of the hotel not elderly/ handicap friendly as you need to climb up/ down a flight of stairs.

the hotel is still quite new so very clean. a warm welcome with some welcoming ice cream. one of the first hotels where the products in de mini bar were free! happy hour from 6-8 P.M. with free cocktails and if you’re bored of the building you’re staying in, you can also have breakfast or dinner in the other building they own next to it. they’ll arrange a buggy that can bring you there as well. the lounge on the roof + swimming pool were all very pleasant too with a beautiful view. good WiFi, nothing to complain about!

the beach isn’t really a beach, so don’t choose this hotel for that if you want to be close to a beach ;)

I find the staff very approachable, accommodating and helpful. The service was fantastic. The hotel location next to the big shopping mall - Gurney Plaza is a big plus. This makes everything very convenient especially coming from overseas and not having a car to get around the place.

There needs to be a better vacuum for the bedroom carpet, as I keep finding hair that does not belong to me on the bedroom carpet. The cleanliness of the bedroom and especially the bathroom/shower has room for improvement.

The hotel is strategically located between 2 malls and it is a walking distance to Gurney Drive Hawker Centre which was very convenient. Their buggy service to Gurney Plaza was a plus point as well. The hotel has a modern touch to it and the beds are somewhat comfortable.

The room is rather small and the housekeeping could have been more clean. Our room’s carpet was not properly vacuumed as we can see a lot of dusts and white threads. The toilet was also not properly cleaned as we found hair etc. upon arrival. Other than the cleanliness, the hotel is highly recommended.

The location - in between Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon. It’s also near to the famous Gurney Drive Hawker Centre (walking distance).

The front office staff (a lady) was rude - I simply asked when my rooms would be ready and she was being non-committal, she then called Housekeeping and I overheard her conversation with the housekeeping and the exact words from the housekeeper was “I cannot guarantee by when the rooms would be ready.” I then asked if the rooms would be ready by 3:00 PM and she was again being cold and non-committal. Her tone of voice was bordering on rudeness. This experience could have been avoided if she had applied some empathy and patience.

Myself and my wife was very pleased with our stay as the G Hotel at Kelawei Road as it was situated in good area and all breakfast and the room was very well maintain and cleaned. We are looking forward to stay at the G Hotel at Gurney drive when we returned next year as i hope the renovations will be finished. We would have like to have stayed at your hotel a bit longer but we already booked at another hotel which wasn't as good as the G hotel closer to the town.

We didn't realise that the G Hotel on Gurney Drive was under renovations as we expecting to stay the there.

Efficiency and friendliness of the check-in and check-out process. I received WhatsApp message for my room once it is ready. Overall, very clean of the room, including the bathroom, bed linens, and floors. I have a restful night with the tip top comfy of the room. Received welcome drinks and snacks in the mini fridge. NETFLIX to watch. Is so close to the Gurney Plaza and Gurney paragon Mall within walking distance. Breakfast served was superb.

Buggy ride was great as penang weather is hot during day time. I like my room bathtub. Breakfast spread is nice but remember to come in early as I saw line queue after 9

Evening cocktail is nice but limited selection of drink. Would be nice if my drink was not present in a tin can and maybe would be nice if can invest better sunshade .. or maybe It better if you have the Evening cocktail after 6pm.
