The room is pretty spacious for Japanese hotel standards, I was able to open my two big luggages and with still enough space to walk around the room. The price point is also very affordable, considering the location in Shinjuku and the season (sakura season). It is located within walking distance of both Higashi-Shinjuku station and Okubo station, both of which are central to connecting to different parts of Tokyo. I would definitely recommend this hotel as good value for money if you want to stay around Shinjuku

The breakfast area seems too small for the capacity of the hotel - there are always no seats available during breakfast. The hotel I think is aware of it as they have takeaway containers available for those who want to eat inside their rooms instead. The coffee is not good however, so better get some from the 711 across the street.

Free breakfast has a sufficiently wide variety of dishes to choose from and it changes from day to day. Room was also comfortable and clean, fresh towels were provided to us every day. Bonus: the drinks in the vending machines at the lobby are mostly 100 yen each which is cheaper than convenience stores or other vending machines outside.

The hotel was located in the middle of quite a few clubs/karaoke/bars/massage places. May not be suitable for travelers who are uncomfortable with that kind of environment. From the view of my window, we are able to look at a club and till even 1/2AM there are still quite a lot of people standing on the streets or chatting outside the convenience store.

Great location, walking distance to Kabukicho night life area, but the hotel is still in a safe, quiet street. Also walking distance to Okubo Korean town with lots of food and shopping options. The rooms are small but good enough as we go out most of the time and only use the room for night sleep. Nice hot breakfast options with mix of both Japanese style (miso soup, rice ball, grilled fish) and Western style (croissant bread & butter, omelets, salad)

Noise in corridor, elevator is packed in the morning due to everyone coming to get breakfast. People leave rubbish bags in the corridor to be cleaned and collected, look unpleasant and unclean.

Most affordable accommodation at a prime location. Room and bed is bigger than expected. Rare accommodation which includes breakfast without any addition of price. Breakfast area quite small so sometimes need to wait for a place but generally, people come and go very fast. Don't have room cleaning service but everyday, they will hang new clean towels outside the room door. Taxi to Shinjuku Bus Station cost 900 yen if don't want to walk 20 minutes with luggage.

Breakfast was always exceptional and filling. Perfect to start the day. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful especially reception. Thank you very much.

Location was not as good. The surroundings shows you another side of Japan that I have not seen on my previous travels. Just not a nice location, otherwise the inn was just as good with what you pay. First time in an accommodation where the room powers up when you're in/put your room card on the card slot. Good for saving but not sure how I feel about it as you have to wait a few minutes before the room powers on.

Breakfast was plenty and of high quality. The meal is not monotonous; it changes every day. The female front desk agent even assisted me with my online bus reservation for Narita on my way back to my home country, demonstrating how amiable the staff was. Our room was cleaned on a scheduled basis, so it was already tidy when we returned from a long day of trip. I recommend this place as it is accessible to train stations. I will surely be back when I return to Tokyo.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Just a little distance (5 minutes walk) from Shinjuku Kabukicho center & night life. The hotel gives a good impression from the first step inside. Clean & well designed floors, and rooms as well. They give you free robe to sleep with. Breakfast includes Japanese dishes as well as European ones. It is easy to get filled with various tastes. Laundry also works perfect, 24 hours, with change machine for coins and also detergent. You can store your luggage at the day of arrival and in the check out day for free. It is what it is written in the hotel description. No surprise.

i’ve stayed at this chain before in other places and i think they’re a great place to stay as a solo & budget traveller! the rooms are clean, have everything you need for the stay, and they’re not too small. i was also given fresh towels everyday. staff was friendly and answered any questions i had. they also let you store your luggage before and after check out so that was really convenient as i got there early.

not fully soundproof; this didn’t really bother me but i could hear some cars from the streets. as for neighboring rooms, i didn’t hear anyone talking really but i could hear my neighbors phone alarm and vibration in the morning. overall this wasn’t *too* big of an issue for me, but maybe for light sleepers

The location was nice - not too far from the station, and although in the middle of a street with bars on it wasn’t loud at night at all. It is the biggest room I’ve had in Tokyo for this price (and a bit above).

Sadly it seemed like the floors were cleaned less often. At first glance the room seemed clean and pristine, but I noticed hair from 3 different people sticking to my socks (black long, red long, black short - none of which colours I myself have). This made me a little doubtful of other areas of cleaning.
