DDD HOTEL

Rooms are very clean. The location is superb, being near to a number of train stations and some were even directly connected to the airport. Love the design and the freebies that came with our stay!

The toilets are a bit complicated to use and sometimes the bidet does not work consistently and reliably. Although I am familiar with using these type of toilets, their in-room models are tricky. I wish they could also translate some of the buttons since they're all in Japanese. It's not indicated as an inclusion as of the time of our stay, but I'm hoping they can add electric kettles to the rooms.

Love the aesthetic of the hotel, the room, the beds and pillows were comfortable, they even had comfortable pyjamas, slippers, shoe horn and other basic amenities. It also had Bakurocho station underground entrance as soon as you step out of the hotel to the left. I didn’t realise this when I booked the hotel but that station has the Sobu line which has a rapid train to Narita airport. We stayed here for our last 2 nights but I booked it for the look of the hotel, the public transport line was an excellent bonus!

The hallways were a bit too dark and hard to see and the soap containers at the bathroom sink and shower were a bit dirty where they refill it. Small complaints that most people wouldn’t care about or notice.

The design is beautiful and very practical. Although it might be considered small, it is an expected feature in Japan. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is substantial and has a good variety. The bar is also very good, where you can relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. I did not have the chance to experience the restaurant, hoping to be a visitor in the future, but they have a 2 Michelin star restaurant in-house, which is hard to find.

A TV would have been useful, as there is plenty of space and it was a little dusty, especially with the black furniture.

Beautiful, minimal design. Very considered. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom was lovely and clean and the shower was excellent - much better than at any of our other accommodation in Japan. The breakfast was nice, their coffee is very good! Very relaxing atmosphere, and lovely staff. We would happily stay here again.

Not the most bustling area - some might see this is a perk, though - there’s a few options close by, but did find this to be a bit further of a walk to restaurants and convenience than other places we stayed in Tokyo. Just something to be mindful of. Plenty of stations nearby, and still very well connected though.

The staff was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and just comendable in general. We could store our bagage, and they also had packaging for sending souvenirs home. The beds were really comfortable, and the Pjamas were also great. The Hotel is only 5 minutes (in different directions) away from subways that take you to Narita Airport without transfer and one stop away from akihabara.

The traffic outside was very much audible in the room. Also, the window blinds didn't really cover the whole window, so light still came through in the morning. If you have a room with a bunk bett, the person on top has the air conditioner blowing at them.

Really beautiful hotel the staff has a perfect english and they are super nice and welcoming. It was super clean, the air conditionning system makes the room fresh but you don't get the cold on you directly from it when you sleep which I feel is a + to not get sick and just feel good in your room during summer. We needed a kettle we just asked at the front desk and they gave us one, don't hesistate to ask if you need anything. They don't have a laundry room or service but just behind the hotel you have a laundry mat place that you can use even if you don't speak japanese since it's in english (it has washer detergent softner and dryer included programs). This hotel was our last stop it was the best way to relax before going back home.

Just keep in mind the rooms if you choose economy are super small but they already warn you about this. You can't move much in it. The bathroom is a good size though.

The staffs here were all amazingly helpful and friendly. I recall one night we were pretty late (from DisneySea) and had to take out 7-11 conbi foods, eating at lobby area level 2. The staff very kindly offered to help us discard all the trashes. Room ammenities especially shampoo and body wash were great quality too. The location is pretty close to Asakusa line (bound for Haneda) and Akihabara, Tokyo Station.

The room is on the smaller side - understandably so in Tokyo. We had 2 XL luggage, baru managing (had to open one at a time) but yeah we did it :-), we were okay as it was just a 3-days stop over.

Very good value for money - extremely comfy beds, large shower/bathroom for Japanese standards, great coffee at on site cafe, close to a few different train stations, beautiful design hotel

Option for coffee in the room would have been nice. I also think that in the double room, the beds are a little too big as there isn't a great deal of floor space to store luggage if you have more than one suitcase - we managed just fine though with 2 medium suitcases and one large suitcase. A single queen or king size bed would be more suitable than two double beds. Lighting over the desk and in the bathroom isn't ideal for doing makeup

Very friendly staff and a very nice and clean hotel. My first time in Japan so I was a little nervous but the hotel was very nice. The double room was big enough for me and I had lots of luggage as was travelling for work. For two people with two large bags I would recommend a larger room. Nice comfy room with a great shower. The breakfast was very nice. The bar area is really cool and they even had a DJ on one evening. It had a nice atmosphere. The location is fantastic for accessing the Metro. It must be right between about 3 different stations/lines as I never got back using the same station :).

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was quite compact (the same as most hotel rooms in Japan) but we had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely and clean with free toiletries and free robes and slippers. It was really good value for money.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk to Akihabara station which is on the Yaminote line. Sometimes it could be a little noisy outside of the room but we had earplugs so were never disturbed when sleeping.
