Apa Hotel Higashi-Nihonbashi-Ekimae

Check in was a little bumpy due to it being completely automated and us not fully understanding the system. The staff that was working when we arrived didn't speak enough English to be able to help, but we were able to figure it out. After we figured it out, it was a really good system. It could be improved with clearer instructions, but there's also the possibility that I was the problem. We had breakfast included, which required breakfast tickets. They printed out individual tickets for each of us for every day of our stay. It was so much paper, we had a 2 week stay. There has to be a better way to do that, so there isn't so much paper waste. The food at the restaurant was good. It was a rotation of the same 6 options, so if you like a lot a variety you won't get it. I found it fine and it was always consistently good. The room was super small for 2 people for as long as we were there. We managed and it ended up being fine for us, but if you need room to spread out, you won't have it. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small and functional. Overall, a really good place to stay with the train station right outside the door.

Location was EXCELLENT! station is just right outside the hotel, literally just a few steps! The train lines in this station are amazing! you get to go to Shibuya, Skytree, Asakusa, Ueno,Akiba with just at least one transfer or NONE at all! There is a community bus going to some locations such as Akihabara and Skytree! I am extremely bad w/directions but to my surprise, this is by far the easiest station I'v stayed in Japan (comparing it to Shinjuku & Akihabara-previous area Iv stayed).Room is compact, small but clean and good enough, comfy bed! Local express train from Narita for only Y1100, so cheap! Area is quiet,lots of mini groceries and convenience stores, LOCAL food shops that are cheap and amazingly good! Saying goodbye to TikTok food recos! Japanese Local Food for the win!

I appreciated the convenient proximity of APA Hotel to the subway stations. The option to choose between two nearby stations made commuting hassle-free. Overall, my experience was excellent! The room was impeccably clean, and there were no unusual odors, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the APA Hotel, but one aspect I found inconvenient was the absence of a laundry room on the premises. While there is a laundry shop just 5 minutes away, I couldn't help but wish for the convenience of an on-site facility. Having such a amenity would have added to the overall ease and comfort of my stay.

The rooms were clean and cozy. The rooms were quite small, but this is to be expected in a city like Tokyo. The space was efficiently utilised. Bed was big and very nice to sleep in. New towels and "pyjamas" given every morning.

The breakfast was not great. There were only two options each day; one typical Japanese breakfast and one "american" breakfast. The Japanese breakfast was always fish, rice and miso soup - which can be delicious but not for breakfast (we think). The "American" option was just a fried egg with some ham and a slice of white toast. Not a lot of food.

Excellent location, it was so close to the subway travel was really easy. Very clean and well thought out rooms. The rooms were fairly small but I did expect that. They are however big enough for someplace to store your stuff, sleep, relax a little and as a base to explore Tokyo.

Room size was a little small. Also I dont know if this was the hotel or tokyo in general, but the water was ery hard/harsh on my dyed hair (I have purple dyed hair) and it washed it out so quickly even though it normally lasts for months and Doesn't leach for me at all.

The hotel is right next to the B4 exit from Higashi-Nihombashi station, plus you can connect underground to Bakuroyokoyama station and Bakurocho station (JR pass works here, 2 stops to Tokyo station), so getting around is very easy. The room was the perfect size for me as a solo traveler, very clean, and had a mini fridge & electric kettle. The staff were all friendly and check-out a breeze.

Check-in took a little extra time I think because I was a foreign traveler who booked through a third party site, but the staff were able to work through it with no other issues. Also the fridge in my particular room froze everything, but was able to work with it.

Stayed a second time at the end of my trip since it's such a convenient location to several train lines. I stored my bag at nearby Bakurocho station and explored the city for a few more hours before heading to Narita. The staff were professional and friendly, and the room was everything I needed. Check-out was a breeze, just had to drop the keycard at the machine in front of the elevators.

I had such a good experience with APA, I stayed at Nara and Toquio and both were amazing, have to say as the Nara was probably recently constructed, it was better but even so both are great! The location is perfect as well, literally 10 m from the train that has lots of lines running. There are restaurants, 7-Eleven, family mart, etc around, and an easy walk of 25m to Ginza and Akihabara. I recommend the location and hotel.

The cleanliness and the location! It was perfect that the train station is just beside the hotel, and that there's a lot of shops, konbinis, drug store, coffee shop etc that were very near.

I was expecting for the room for it to be roomier, but I can't complain as everything was so clean and spotless, and every amenities worked perfectly.

Near to some subways exit but need to lookout for escalator exits otherwise alot of stairs to climb. A few convenient stores nearby and a eateries that open quite late.

Room is small and hardly can open the dooe if you lay your luggage on the floor. The toilet door is abit translucent which will be awkward if travelling with frens.
