Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour

The location is good, North Point is considered 'local' and different from Central or the west side of Hong Kong. It is still touristy, with a lot of travel groups. The room is nice and spacious, we picked a lovely harbour view. The cleaning staff are very nice and attentive.

Check-in and check-out staff was not friendly at all, though check-in time was 3 pm, we got there at 4 pm, but we still needed to wait for a while to get to our room. Given we are hotel guests, there are no subsidies or discounts for parking at all. Parking was expensive.

- The location is very closed to Northpoint MTR station. The surrounding area and neighborhood is safe and good for a walk as it is a park for pets and locates next to the harbour. There are also nearby department stores and restaurant. - The mattresses and pillows are very comfy. - Stunning view.

- The check-in process took too much time. The queue is long. - No drinking water for complimentary provided in my room on the first day of stay. - The toilet sink not draining.

The sea view is great and the location is near the subway station, not far away from city center.

The service is good. But one of the staff of the ground floor is not very nice. He is doing his job fine but not with any smile.

I preferred to stay in a quieter part of HK so Hyatt provided a perfect stay for that. The room came with a lovely harbour view and the hotel was next to the MTR, a mall and lots of shops in the vicinity. There’s a good mix of both the old and new in the area, and provided for good food, shopping and exploration! The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and well-furnished. Would have preferred a bath tub for the standard room but no complaints otherwise about the finishings and general cleanliness. Bed was very comfortable and I had good sleeps. Pillows were slightly flat but the hotel was able to provide firmer ones on request. The infinity pool was small but private and had a lovely view. The hotel is also next to the ferry pier, where there are rides to Hung Hom or Kowloon City. It was a fun and convenient way to cross the harbour too. Being a pet friendly hotel located in a pet friendly mall, there were plenty of pets around; a definite plus for pet lovers. Overall, I had a great stay and would not hesitate to repeat my stay. For those who are not looking to stay in Kowloon, I would recommend this hotel.

Check-in was a little slow and the reception could be clearer about the deposit charged. No other major issues otherwise.

Location is best. That’s part of the reason for my stay at Hyatt Centric. The other reasons are the concierge staff at the ground floor such as Martin, Ronald, Carrie and Henry, they are so professional. They make things much easier for guests like me with lots of delivery and requests. They work above and beyond for my dinner reservation to get my reservation at China Club. And on my departure. They make sure all my luggage are nicely placed in my car. Great staff and great service.

One of the concierge staff might be new. He was not helpful when I request to use his luggage trolley he just ignore me and walked away. Room to improve on staff training.

Location was fantastic, easy to flag taxi, great harbour view. We looked relatively last minute for the peak Xmas season and the hotel was only slightly more expensive than the basic 4*hotels in the area but double the bedroom size and the excellent services to be expected from a top end hotel group. Pros: great location, helpful and friendly staff, spacious room, comfy firm mattress, great harbour view, reasonable sound proof for a light sleeper

If a pillow that offers some support is important to you then unfortunately this hotel isn't for you. Bit too close to the local market, pre pandemic the hotel used to offer free shuttle bus to the HK express station but that's not available anymore and yet the staff couldn't bring themselves to spell it out in black n white over emails, that bit of the communication prior to our stay was frustrating. We stayed for a week yet was given the lowest floor, so had to endure bit of the noise from the street every morning of our stay. Didn't think I would have to ask to get higher up rooms given my week long stay. Given HK was part of our Asia trip we were exhausted upon arrival and it slipped my mind to ask for a quieter room. So I'm at fault too I suppose.

This gastronomic journey was a perfect start to my day, reflecting the hotel's commitment to providing a world-class dining experience. Pool Area: The pool area was nothing short of an oasis. Whether I was taking an early morning dip or lounging in the afternoon sun, the pool area provided a serene escape from the bustling city life. Local Experience: Staying at Hyatt Centric, I felt deeply connected to the local culture. Its location away from the usual tourist spots allowed me to explore Hong Kong's authentic side, which was exactly what I was looking for. Overall Experience: My stay at Hyatt Centric was an experience I'll cherish. The staff's attentiveness, the amenities, and the overall ambiance of the hotel contributed to a memorable and enjoyable stay. It truly felt like a second home, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and authentic local experiences.

- Great views - Very clean, comfortable property - Though the fitness centre is small, there’s enough there to improvise a workout - Great rooftop bar - Friendly staff who were very accommodating to our needs and requests (really went out of their way to make the occasion feel right when I told them it was my wife’s bday)

- our suite ran a bit dim in the daytime. The tint on the the windows is pretty heavy - while conveniently located above a shopping complex, the shopping centre itself is a bit lacking and a bit shabby looking, though the Starbucks makes for an easy coffee fix - limited room service menu

An exceptionally comfortable, clean and efficient hotel with great views over Victoria Harbour. Hotel staff were very helpful, in fact most went above and beyond. Good location with easy access to public transport and taxis. An extensive breakfast buffet. Food and drinks in Cruise restaurant are delicious!

Check-in was a little slow and receptionist did not enquire about our luggage, which only arrived to our room once we made enquiries from our room some time later. No iron/ironing board in room.

Gives me a relaxing environment to take care of myself when I really needed. The staff are kind and patience. On my birthday, I got gift and a beautiful cake, very considerate of them to sing me a happy birthday song with the cake at 11pm, knowing that I will be out in the evening. The facilities are exceptional, clean environment, especially a gym with a spectacular view of Hong Kong. I enjoyed the stay, it brings me peace staying at this hotel for a week. I appreciate everything.
