Harbour Plaza Metropolis

Very large hotel, quite well-located (especially when you know your way around, which was not my case at first), with a friendly and capable staff. The breakfast is (a bit expensive but) very nice with a large diversity (Chinese, Indian, Western,...). From the hotel, a shopping mall as well as several restaurants are readily accessible. A subway station can be found nearby.

Although the staff is friendly and will respond to any query, we were not readily provided with much information when we arrived, meaning that we had to ask (e.g. the Wi-fi, the way around the hotel, the breakfast hours and location, etc.). The hot water in my bedroom was barely warm (rather lukewarm). It was, since the temperature in Hong Kong (and in the hotel) is usually quite good, but nevertheless, for a hotel of this type, I would expect better.

I stayed on the 21st floor. The room has a nice kitchen with some cooking wares, a standard size fridge, a microwave, which all is a very good thing to my kind of travel and staying. The location is number 1; unbeatable!

Check out was a bit confusing as the arrow sign pointed to the RSH of the front desk, but the lady on duty at the RHS of the counter she sent guests back to the center of the front desk. May be a more indicative and clear arrangement would be helpful. Concierge service was questionable! I wanted to print a company sensitive document (just one page), they asked me to send it to their concierge email account so they can print it out for me, even a 3 star hotel would have a stand alone computer and printer for customer's privacy. I was surprised, such simple task the concierge could not help me on that!!

The location was excellent as well as the shuttle bus service that was offered. The cleaning staff were very efficient and friendly especially the woman who cleaned our room during our stay, Lin Shi Ling who provided us with bottles of water daily and gave us a lovely postcard with a message as a reminder of our stay in Hong Kong. We thought this was a lovely gesture and appreciate the thought. We would definitely stay in this hotel again the next time we return to Hong Kong.

The pool was a bit cold but this could be because we were there during the month of November.

quiet, spacious, clean room staying since 2017 at this hotel part of my job and life to stay at hotels around the globe, this one is one of my favorites very easy to get around if you know your way surprising that it has a lower score from some of the junk ones around

The location is very convenient and next to Hum Hong MTR station. Complimentary shuttle bus to TST. Beds are comfortable. Nice view of the harbour. Great room service and the food was delicious. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices

The apartment has been refurbished recently and look modern in general but some equipment and decorations are outdated and old, and feel odd at a modern flat. Plugs, switches Telephone and microwave look like 20 years old and require refurbishment to align with the deco of the apartment. . Rooms are cold during winter.

I booked the location to travel to the VNL volleyball tournament at the Coliseum Stadium, it was the perfect place to stay within 2 mins walking distance back to the hotel at 11pm in the evening. Close to MTR, and link to a small shopping mall for supermarket, dinings and coffees.

I actually booked twice to stay at HPM during my 2 weeks stay in HK. First week on 11th floor. Perfect - clear room, looks newly renovated, best house keeping. 2nd week on 18th floor - looks like it had a flooded past, house keeping looks unfinished and one time returning to room smell of cigarette smoke.

My friend and I were there to attend a concert and the location of this hotel is just perfect! Less than 2 minutes walking distance to Hong Kong Coliseum Stadium! The hotel itself is connected to a mall, which has restaurants, supermarket and convenient store. And it is less than 10 minutes walking distance to the Hong Hum MRT station! Room is spacious and super clean + comfortable!

The service of the staff is standard.

Excellent location. The hotel is next to a main train/metro station, which you reach via an air-conditioned walk through a small mall (with great outlet shops, a supermarket, bakeries and loads of restaurants). The actual room is on the small side but has everyone you need and is more than enough for one. The pool and gym facilities are wonderful.

The bathrooms were fine but the carpet wasn't cleaned as well as one would expect from what is otherwise a very nice, reasonably priced hotel. Also the air-conditioning can be overpowering, but you can turn it down.

1) doesnt provide other pillow choices 2) check in on a Friday. The wait for check in was about 20min. 3) there are two buildings, one building doesnt have the swimming pool. Imagine walking across the hotel lobby to the next building, no thanks. 4) getting a taxi at the lobby wasnt easy. Walking to the Hung Hom mrt for taxi was better.

The customer service was great and very attentive. It’s also helpful the hotel was right in as shopping centre and right next to a train station made getting around fairly easy

Train is a must for getting to and from the property, footpaths and walkability is less accessible than it appears in to e map. However, once I was used to the surrounds then th ere is a definitive into the rest of HK
