Novum Hotel Continental Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

The location is fantastic especially when travelling by train. It is also surrounded by good restaurants and shops. Close to many tourist attractions. Breakfast was positively decent.

Our room. The only issue is the temperature. It was hot inside the room. The window was broken, so we could only open it up a little and we don't have a choice but to close it before we sleep because of the noise from outside.

First things first: the location is unbeatable, right across the Hauptbanhof, you'll be wherever you need to be in no time. The staff is super friendly. Top-notch, very comfortable bathroom, great water pressure and temperature. Good, nutritious breakfast.

Room size as advertised, bear in mind this could not be big enough if you travel with a couple of large suitcases. Wi-fi was a little intermitent, nothing to actually go to the reception to complain about, but could be a problem if you need to work with your computer.

The location.and price could not be beat! Directly across from the HBF means travelling anywhere by train, tram, or bus is simple. For the money the hotel was great! No frills, but a decent breakfast and a clean and comfortable room. The front desk staff also seemed to know enough English to make communication easy- I'm new here and don't really know much German yet.

The door keys are manual locks and the front desk asks you leave your key when you leave the hotel. It is also possible to leave your door unlocked as you must manually lock it. TV in room was REALLY small, but we didn't really need it much.

The location was very convenient, very close to the train station and with many restaurants around. The room and the bathroom were ok.

The breakfast could be better. The quality of the food could be better and the staff could be nicer. At some point they kicked you out because there was not enough space for everybody.

Great location (across the street from the Train Station). Breakfast was nice, not too many options, but still pretty good. Room was very comfortable and warm (we came in November and it was very cold outside). The people at the front desk were helpful. We would stay here again for sure :)

Excellent location right next to central station and rooms facing main road were not too noisy. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast with a variety of food. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Extremely reasonable price given central location. Clean rooms.

Slightly dated decor and furnishings. Shower curtain round a shower tray. No kettle in room.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. The colation was very good.

There was no fridge in the room. In summer water needs to be cool. We had to drink warm water . Breakfeast was very good, but were shortage of cakes. The elevator was narrow.

The location is really good (9 of 10) and the rooms were good also (8 of 10). Breakfast is included and pretty good (7.5 of 10)

The parking situation 👎🏼 The old woman from the reception was not nice at all. You shouldn't put someone like this to "welcome" any guests👎🏼

After just 5 mins in our room we had to ask for another one due to the fact that one of our matresses was so bad it would be like sleeping in a hole . The guy in the reception was great about it and gave us not one but 2 rooms to look af so we had 2 nights with a view over the town and a balkony.

Almost opposite main train station so very convenient. Good size room with very comfortable bed. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff especially at breakfast.

Room was quite airless even with window open. Very dim lighting in room. Lack of fresh fruit options (just apples) or tinned fruit!
