Hotel Residence am Hauptbahnhof

What are these people talking about ??? This is the best place I have stayed since long time. We start with price which is unbeatable. The location is perfect !! There is no danger or anything, the street is full of life and vibe, there are restaurants everywhere and supermarket just near by. There is no bad neighborhood or anything like this! The room was huge with nice desk and table if you want to do some work, and the last most important super quiet!!

The price for breakfast is a bit heigh for what is offered, but food is sufficient.

The location was superb, beside the main station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were very clean. The room had everything you would possibly need.

2 points to add here, my room which was at the front of the hotel was very noisy from the traffic and people on the street. This was understandable due to its location and not the hotels fault. There was two cockroaches in my room. These didn't bother me but might be an issue with other guests.

Nice location, close to Hauptbahnhof. Very polite stuff. Room was hot in the very cold winter weather. The ranking of this hotel is ridiculously low, it absolutely deserves higher grade so I'm going to give it a 9 although it's more lika a solid 8. I red there supposed to be problems with the neighborhood, I stayed with my wife and we didn't see anything like that, hotel's located in the street where you have a big market and a lot of busy fast food's, can't see how people can attack you there.

No elevator.

The location is near the main train station, there is a supermarket next to the hotel and the staff was nice and friendly! Room was quiet and bathroom huge! Bed was comfortable too!

The location is not good for families due to high amount of drunk people at night but in general nothing to complain about the stuff

Very basic, but all one can expect for the price was available: Good room, clean, perfect location, free WiFi, Television in room, privacy, you name it. Of course for the price it is not a luxury suite with sea views, but if just for staying a few nights it is perfect. During the week it was nice and quiet, and weekends it might be recommendable to ask for a room away from the street side.

Breakfast: little variety (very German, not international), no much choice, no fish, no Vollkornbrot, no vegan, no alternative milk ( soya, oats) no real müsli, Bedside lamps should be separately usible two single matresses are better than one large one

Clean and comfy room; staff were very friendly and helpful; and it is in very close vicinity to central bus and train stations.

The street the hotel is in did not feel particularly safe, especially later in the evening.

Very well located for just one night step over in Hamburg. Considering it's central location the room was really quiet. Bed was comfortable and everything was fairly clean.

Hallways and building were a bit outdated and not entirely clean.

even if the furniture is old, the room is very clean; near the central station. Also the heat in the room was good.

The stairs to go to the lift:) The shower was not constant as temperature.

staff was nice, welcoming, room was clean, breakfast was okay, tasty and simple, got a better room than expected))
