Villa Westend Hotel an der Messe

Nice quiet location (and hotel surroundings) close to the Exhibition/Conference center (Messe, 5' walk). 20' walking distance to Frankfurt main train station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof), 5' to metro station (U-Bahn). Decent breakfast, good coffee. Friendly stuff. Ice maker on ground floor. A/C in the room. Choice of restaurants close by.

No minimarket or convenience stores close by (alas, a minibar was in the room).

Breakfast was great. The breakfast area is rather beautiful. The staff were amazingly helpful, polite, and courteous. And everything was clean and well-maintained.

Our room was on the side of the street and we could hear sounds of cars and people talking on the street as they walked past in the night. This meant that we had to close the windows to sleep. Even with the windows closed, although we could sleep effortlessly, one could still at times hear the cars from outside.

The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bed I had was big and of good quality likewise the pillows and sheets. Slept like a rose. The breakfast exists of a good pallet of bread and our yogurt. The hospitality was good; since visiting a Fair which is only a 5 minute walk away I could leave my car in the garage for a single fee.

The entrance to the parking garage is hardly seen when arriving in dark and rainy weather. Also the commercial sign outside could maybe be made more visible. Since a lot of streets are one way - under these conditions you easily pass by and have to detour for all one ways the whole block again,

The hotel charged us twice,once from my wifes debit card and once being pid by cash.Thsi was reported to us by our bank so as we have just arrived home this will be verified tomorrow 21/7/23. The money taken on the card was a date and time stamp of 16//7/2 at 00.18.am a day before we arrived If this is correct then I will be taking legal action and if it is proven otherwise then no action will be instigated

Check in was quick and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a great bonus. Breakfast was just the right mix of options and was great. The location perfect for walking to the business district or to the university.

That leaking faucet in the room that couldn't be fixed (they tried). Also, it would be great to put a desk chair in the room.

Great location, near train station. The room look vintage, but clean. You can open the window and go outside the window to a shared balcony to have a smoke at night, really peaceful. You can also park outside for free (if you can find a spot, it is right next to the suburb so good luck)

Pretty far from the center (if you walk). No convenient store around so good luck if you crave mid night snacks.

The Check in was simple and direct. The breakfast buffett was good for my own taste. The offer is generous but not gigantic . The Room had a lot of space, was confortable and well suited for our needs (two adults and a girl of 7)

We parked on a free spot in front of the hotel. I believe they do not have an own parking, without some luck the parking would have been a bit far.

Staff is super friendly and the room is very clean..

The inconvenience is the walking steps to the hotel reception counter from the main entrance. You have to carry your luggage and walk up. Don’t think they have gym facilities room…

Location is 5 minutes by car from central square. The room has a lot of space. We had two double beds and it was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Parking cost 90 euro per day. And it wasn't any information about that when I booked it. We had to find a place for car on the street near the hotel.
