Hampton By Hilton Frankfurt Airport

The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was quiet, spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast is included in the price and starts at 6am, which is suitable for individuals leaving in the morning. The selection at breakfast was a large variety of food and beverage items. There was a station to make your own waffle and pancake at the breakfast. Food options for individuals flying out earlier than breakfast. Not too far to the airport - 15min walk. Free shuttle from the airport but 4euro/person from the hotel.

It would be nice to have the shuttle bus iincluded in the price. Breakfast could start at 05h30, especially for people flying out earlier in the mornings.

There was an amazing, delicious breakfast. It is walking distance to the airport and they have shuttles for 6 euros each. You are so close you can walk literally. Next door is the Holiday Inn and they have a great dinner menu. The staff was great. One person recommended going to Rudesheim for the day and it was fabulous! Great recommendation! Another person suggested going to Bad Hamburg for dinner and getting dinner in the park. That too was a GREAT recommendation! Family met us there and they were able to purchase the breakfast.

You had to pay for parking and the basement parking is very tight and a maze! That is the only think I can think of that was not wonderful!

Breakfast very good, would note a very high functionality and quality of the coffee machine. Special appreciation the Belgium Waffle maker, as in American Hamptons. The staff at the Reception desk is outstanding good and helpful.

Have been required to pay 20% more for same room at 11/6/2023 to price of 1.6.2023 ! The Shuttle route doesn't includes Terminal 2, this is important do the Rent a Car offices location there. A site paper plan would be helpful for Guests. In the room: the bathing corner is very good planned for effective clean up, but too much open (no door) for guest heat feeling desired. Moreover, the big water spreader causes water splash out onto the floor of the bathroom.

This is a very modern up-to-date hotel in excellent condition both in the public areas and the two rooms we have been allocated (when using it as an overnight at FRA). Staff have been friendly and the included breakfast buffet "more than expected". Only reservation is that for 2 people with luggage the rooms feel a bit small although there has been a "proper" comfortable armchair which is a real bonus.

There is a limited (or non-existent) bar menu at night. However there is a restaurant at the Holiday Inn next door or a good Italian Restaurant about 300 metres away so eating (or over-eating) is no problem.

It was within walking distance of the airport, tho with current airport construction, both walking and shuttle rides were challenging. The staff was friendly and skilled. Tho not immediately visible or apparent the breakfast room was large and the buffet comprehensive and quickly replenished. The room was quiet with good furnishings and temperature control. Access and departure were speedy.

There was very minimal welcoming material n room; no mention of nearby public transit stops or eating opportunities. Tho there was an alarm clock it constantly changed time and the alarm set was nonfunctional. It was a handicapped room but there was no explanation of how the alarm system worked. Likewise the elevator had access security recording a card swipe which was not explained at check-in. The free internet was weak as stated, but the television also lost channel or had weak channel signal. Certainly a better "Welcome Book" in room wold help. Staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was fantastic, close proximity to the airport, comfy room. The shuttle service is quite convenient also. although at 6 euros per person if there is more than one might be better to get a Taxi/Uber. Train into town is close by.

The hotel is convenient, clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast choices were extensive.

There is absolutely no food available after breakfast. We arrived at dinner time and had to ask about dining choices. The desk staff only told us that they had no food. Also, the staff failed to tell us that we needed to buy a bus token from them to return to the airport. The airport bus is free from the airport and costs to return. That is not posted on the bus. The hotel had the schedule posted, but no warning that it cost. The staff did not ask us how we were getting to the airport or warn us about the cost. Most people who stay there take the bus, so it should be part of the check-out information.

Decent size room with a queen bed, single lounge, chair and desk area. Bed was comfortable, pillows were good and the bathroom a decent size. Although it doesn't have the facilities for dinner, they do offer a small range of pizzas that were quite good. They also have a small bar area for drinks if you choose. Breakfast was fantastic!! The guy who checked us in was fantastic, quite funny and also served us when we ordered drinks and pizza.

No facilities for dinner in the hotel (except pizza). You had to go and find a restaurant, but be careful if it's a weekend or public holiday. If you need supplies, you need to get them before arriving at hotel as there wasn't any supermarkets around.

The rooms are very clean. The hotel is quiet considering it's close to the Frankfurt Airport. Beds are comfortable. Good security since you need a room key (card) that you scan in the elevator that allows you to get off on only your floor and the lobby (reception). The hotel looks brand new. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. There is a shuttle bus (that doesn't run from noon to 4:00 pm) that can take you to the Frankfurt Airport for 6 Euros. The shuttle bus can pick you up at the Frankfurt Airport and take you on a short ride to the hotel for no cost. The airport pickup location and instructions were given with the booking, which was very helpful to a tired traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There are not many restaurants close by, especially on a Sunday night. We only found one restaurant open (a pizza place) on Sunday night, which wasn't that good. My other issue is that the airport shuttle doesn't run between noon and 4pm which is a problem if you are going back to the Frankfurt Airport and then to the train station to catch a train. And you have to catch the shuttle bus in front of the Holiday Inn and not the Hampton Inn. The Holiday Inn is close by so it wasn't that much of a hardship. And it costs 6 Euros from the hotel to the airport, but free from the airport to the hotel. Shuttle bus service should be complimentary in both directions.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever experienced in my travels. Really impressed. The staff was most friendly. Comfortable room. Fair price.

The shuttle from airport to the hotel was free. That was wonderful. However, the hotel charged 3 Euros per person on our first stay (trip arrival) and 6 Euros per person for our second stay (end of trip departure) to ride the shuttle bus back to the airport. Not wonderful. I was caught off-guard with the return shuttle bus charge (and the charge increase on the second visit). It's rather like saying: "You can enter the room for free, but to leave you must pay a fee." I forget how it was posted on their website, but to imply a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel is a bit misleading. The return shuttle fee should be posted. A free shuttle both directions is a big draw for me when I research where I am going to stay.
