Kyriad Montpellier Ouest St Jean de Védas - A709

The reception / accueil. I really appreciate your staff! The moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Marie-Ange & Sylvie. Very polite & professional & they readily answered my questions about the area of St Jean de Védas. I went out for the evening & when I returned, I met Pascal. Also very polite & professional. When I asked him about the local Churches in St Jean de Védas, he readily looked up the info & provided me with the information. The following morning at breakfast, I was met by Alexandra who cheerfully & with a smile, welcomed me & asked if I slept well. I did, as the bed was quite comfy. It was a pleasure to meet an employee early in the morning, who truly is happy at her job! Afterwards, I met Charlotte who was also very polite, cheerful & professional. Monsieur / Madame, your staff really made me feel welcome & comfortable. I will not hesitate to book with you again for my next visit to the Montpellier region. Location near motorway, good for travellers passing through. Functional, modern, clean and comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds. Secure parking. You can keep an eye on your car if you ask for a room with a car-park facing balcony. Greatly appreciated availability of freshly-squeezed orange juice at breakfast. Staff very polite and friendly.

Breakfast was OK in general, but nothing special (apart from fresh orange juice). White industrial bread not great. Yogurts not that nice. Breakfast room a little small. Do not like paper cups provided in room for coffee/tea - would prefer ceramic ones.

We chose this hotel for the location and secure, locked parking as we had our bikes on the back of our van. We were travelling through to Spain so was a quick overnight stop not in central Montpellier close to the motorway. The hotel recommended an Italian restaurant we could walk to which was lovely. Plenty of other restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is based on an industrial estate so don’t expect too much from the location.

We always stay here on route from England to Spain. It’s just off the motorway and easy to find. It’s modern and clean and the beds are comfy. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is secure with a gated car park. Snacks / Coffee/ Drinks available. There is also a Aldi and restaurants right by it. We have a family room and the price is good. We highly recommend this hotel.

Alexandra, the receptionist that welcomed us was very friendly and exceptionally helpful! beyond grateful to her for being so nice and helpful!Thank you so much, you made our experience truly wonderful! The hotel, as well as our rooms was clean and the beds felt comfortable. It is pretty cool that there are multiple coffee machines downstair, starting with snacks and water to sleeping masks and just some small items to make your sleep more comfortable. The location is comfortable, there are multiple restaurants at a close proximity, as well as an Aldi grocery store. It is just a couple minute walk from a bus and tram station, which is nice for travelers that arrive without a car. There’s also a parking lot, for about 10 cars right next to the hotel. The nice part that both the hotel and the parking lot are enclosed with the gate, so it feels safe.

The bed and pillows are super comfortable, we slept so good there! We liked the room.

Only one thing, we have been told that we can deoif to take the breakfast in the morning, but in the morning we have been told we must book it a day before so we missed it because the reception clerk miss guided us. I would expect at least an apology but it felt like they didn't believe us.

We were traveling and looked for a reasonably priced hotel for the night. This Kyriad is very nicely situated for that, very near the highway but the surrounding commercial area is rather quiet. The rooms are reasonably sized, very clean and sufficently equipped. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Also the parking area is guarded by a very large iron gate, so your car is pretty safe. Entirely recommendable for a night or two, especially if you're traveling through Montpellier.

Unfortunately the toilet flush in our first room was not working. The receptionist was very quick to politefully apologize and gave us a new room where the toilet did indeed flush. So that hasn't been a big problem.

As others have mentioned,, excellent location right off main hwy. This hotel's secured parking was an important feature for us - Our car was packed with visible gear and we didn't want to completely load/unload the car for an overnight stay. Outside of main city center but it's an easy tram ride into the main touristic areas.

The new owner was very nice and helpful, well intentioned in directing us in different places to visit in the area, which was appreciated.

We realized that a new owner, there are a few things that needs improvement such as upgrading the beds, maybe having a small fridge in the room.

Hotel is clean and new. The beds are comfortable, rooms quite spacious, breakfast very tasty with lots of choices (frozen yogurt was a great option for kids), wi-fi ok. No problem with parking either. It met all our needs and expectations. Thank you!
