La Villa STELLA

The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood but still very much within walking distance to central Montpellier. Supermarket and cafes are just a stone throw away. Madam Evelyne is a delightful host and I enjoyed her company very much.

Not so much of what I didn't like; more of managing expectations. Staying at someone else's home is a very different experience compared to that of a hotel. I would probably not recommend this to those who have erratic lifestyle (like myself) - whose day starts at night. I see it more like a homestay; where people choose for peace and quiet.

I really enjoyed the villa itself, it is spacious, calm and well decorated with a mix of modern and old style furniture, surrounded by a garden full of blooming flowers and trees that you typically find in the south of France or in the north of Africa. The room was very clean and quiet, I slept like a baby! The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was perfect despite the cold outside (yes that happens in Montpellier, sometimes) But what I think I enjoyed the most was the owner's company. She is such a wonderful person, very polite, caring and knowledgeable. We had conversations about everything, ranging from the nearby supermarket location to her past has a traveler. It was a bliss!

Evelyne is an exceedingly friendly and helpful host. She seemed to sincerely care about my well-being. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a garden that looked like it'd be nice to hang out if it hadn't been winter.

The Wifi was a bit on the slow side. Didn't matter too much for me, but something to keep in mind if you plan on working remotely.

Evelyne is an amazing host. Always making sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. The house and rooms are exceptionally clean. Staying at Villa Stella really makes you feel you capturing life in the south of France. Definitely worth the value 👌🏻.

the beautiful decorated room, the light, the big room, the amenities at the bathroom, the lovely owner!

we liked everything but we had not understand that we had our own bathroom but not our own toilet, it was shared but very very clean!

Very friendly, helpful, and clean. Charming host. Excellent location, tram, restaurants, shops within easy distance. center within 1 tram stop.

Evelyne was the perfect host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Lovely breakfast . The garden is a nice place to relax. The bus to the main sights leaves just outside the house.

Great host that was very friendly, helpful and kind. She also speaks great english. Nice and clean rooms.

Location a bit far off from city center. No AC in the room. Shared toilett (but private bathroom).

it would have been nice to have a private bathroom but it’s not an issue and the fabulous host makes up for it!
