Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem

Excellent location with easy walking to almost all of the major attractions, food and shopping districts, with 2 x Michelin Star Restaurants right downstairs within 30m of the front door. All of the staff reception, breakfast restaurant and cleaning were exceptionally helpful happy and a pleasure to deal with. Having the iconic Montpellier Cathedral as a backdrop view from our windows was an added bonus (also a great landmark to find your way home).

The room was a little on the small side, but for such an old building it was a small inconvenience.

The Hotel is situated in the old city center of Montpellier with a walking distance to all the nice downtown places and parties. The Hotel can't be reached directly by car. The easiest Parking is at the Arc de Triumph with a walking of 2 minutes to the Hotel. The Hotel is of an old architecture, but nice and cosy. The room is nicely furnished and very clean. As I needed to work in the evenings as well, I appreciated the large table with the electric sockets a lot. What I didn't get running, was any other TV Program in german or english language than the common News Channels. But, I wasn't staying there to watch TV anyhow. The Breakfast was very tasty and sufficient to start the day. Planning for a future trip, even when accompanied by Family, I would consider the Hotel again.

Montpelier is a beautiful city and this hotel is right in the heart of it. Our room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view. Steps away from the hotel are a myriad of wonderful restaurants and magnificent architectural sights - the city is a treasure!

Driving and parking in the city can be a challenge (but worth it!).

shower over bath with curtain and rather worn decorations . lift broken so had to walk up two flights if very winding stairs with very old carpet

I booked to have breakfast with other members of my family just for one morning. The staff were very accommodating for our group! The bedroom view was also spectacular - of the Montpellier cathedral.

The bedroom was very clean, but some of the carpeting in the hotel looks pretty old - they can do with an update.

great location, had usb plugs which is convenient and next door to a Michelin restaurant I wished I had tried! walking distance to town center close to the jardin des plantes which was closed every time I tried to go

corridor wall papers could do with a refresh bit that was a detail the card machine let me down 3 times due to unreliable wifi so if I ever go again, I might take cash

super well located, near all nice spots to visit and close to several restaurants! staff very helpful and accommodations comfortable

There are two buildings and depending on your room, you need to leave to the street to access the room. but it is fine

Very helpful front desk for hapless tourists such as we are. The location is close to everything, yet secluded and quiet. Breakfast was better than expected.

Only drawback was the fiddly wifi connection. Front desk could usually troubleshoot it but still...

Good price in a great part of the city. Staff was polite and even helped me with some free drinks when all the grocery stores were closed and I wanted some more water!

The room I had was a bit strange, a bit like a dungeon but had direct sunlight to the back patio so it was still nice, just a strange hallway on the way in.

The room size was great, and the location was extremely convenient, in the centre of Montpellier. The room had all the necessary amenities, it was very quiet, and the bathroom and bedroom were separated by a small hallway, meaning one person could shower without waking up the other.
