Hotel Colbert

The employees were professional, kind and communicative. They knew english and spanish. The facilities were in correct conditions. And the most important thing. The hotel is just 10 m away from the bus 32 station, which after a long travel, is highly appreciated. At night, for about 10 minutes the lights of the floor went off. They instantly repaired it.

Just to say something to take into account the TV was kind of old, so there is no possibility of watching Netflix, Prime Video, HBO etc... Either way, i dont think that this factor is relevant in a travel destination.

Great location near the train station. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was terrific. The manager took great care of us and was very attentive to our needs! We were riding our bicycles from Bordeaux to San Sebastian and took a couple nights in St Jean de Luz. Very fun little town in the Cote Basque. We werent on a "lounge around the pool" kinda vacation and this hotel worked perfectly for us!

Conveniently located right next to the train and bus stations and a short walk to the town centre and beaches - the town is not that big 😉. Comfortable room with all conveniences, including tea and coffee making facilities. Friendly staff.

One of the sockets was loose with wires exposed next to the kettle. That needs fixing.

Hotel is a little elderly and room had been upgraded in stages but overall effect though not the peak of interior design was effective. Everything worked and everything you would expect to be supplied was. Room was at front with vibrant view of rail and bus traffic in bust road which I really liked. Not particularly noisy at night. Staff great.

Nothing. Was as good as I could have hoped at the price.

Great breakfast: fruit salad, scrambled eggs, mini sausages and bacon. Cereals and yogurt (no muesli). Mini croissants, pains aux raisins and chocolatines, fresh bread with butter and jams.

The room size: hard to walk around bed.

Location was excellent for public transport and for the town and beach. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Srtaff were helpful and friendly.

Personnel was very helpful. Good location.

Excellent location - near town center and right in front of train and bus station which will make your day trips super convenient. Visit Bayonne, Biarritz, and all towns near SJDL. Hotel Manager Tomas and the staff friendly and accomodating.

I only stayed for a day.

Room was on the small side but adequate, could hear room neighbors moving about and the local neighbours were loud voiced well into the night which meant that the window had to be closed ! but overall we were pleased with the hotel

The property is right next to the beach and a 5 minute walk from the pubs and restaurants. It’s a perfect location and was really clean. The staff were polite and really helpful. The room was exactly what you needed.
