Brit Hotel de Paris Saint-Jean-de-Luz

The train and bus station are right in front… no fear it’s still nice around. Easy to carry stuff from transport. The market is a block away and you can walk old town, beach, etc. They told us we could drop our stuff early but in fact the room was ready early! The place seemed family run and they were very nice and gave advice or help. The rooms are nice and basic which matched prices. They were clean and not too loud. We could close our shutters to have quiet night and morning.

The hallway is super small is you struggle to move around. The bathroom door doesn’t allow for perfect privacy… fine with us just in case someone needs to know.

The communication with the staff was quick and efficient all the way through. Check in late at night, especially if you’re arriving with the last train, there’s no problem at all. The hotel is right across from the station. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and have everything you need. For a couple of nights it’s a great place to be.

Not too much really. The breakfast was a little bit poor in my opinion (just sweet items, no savory items, such as ham or cheese).

This was the perfect place to stay for a few nights in Saint Jean de Luz ! The location was great - right across from the train station but not too loud, and very close by foot to the main shopping strips, restaurants, and squares, and only a few minutes to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us some great tips for exploring the area. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom a perfect size. We didn't make use of the breakfast service but it was nice to know it was an option. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel and in a perfect location. Parking within 3 minutes and the train station opposite. Within walking distance of only 5 minutes for bars and restaurants.

Could not fault the hotel. Very helpful receptionist and great room.

Right across from the train station so close to carry bags. Still close to center of town. English speaking at check in. Large window in room opens for fresh air

Check in at 2 pm which is fine but door is locked till 2 pm so can’t drop bags or get out of the rain. We went back across the street to the station to wait till 2 pm

One of the best things about the location of this hotel was its connectivity for public transportation. You can see the railway station from your room and the bus station is within 100 meters range. Must add this place to stay when visiting the beauty of San Juan De Luz.

Great location opposite the train station and easy walking distance to the centre of town and the beach. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfy.

The only thing that could be improved would be to have a fridge in the room but we knew that wasn’t the case when we booked.

The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is straight across the road from the train station which was ideal for us. It was very welcoming and nicely decorated. It only takes about 15 minutes to reach the beach and places to eat.

There was a large brownish spot from wattet leaks on the ceiling, and multiple water stains on the wall. There was no coffee maker , nor tea pot in the room. Upon check out the staff charged 5 euros for the coffee that asked for and got from their lunch room, but they had not told that up front

Friendly well located hotel near train, coach stations, yet very short walk to centre of the town. Good breakfast. Good value for a holiday focussed town.
