ibis Dieppe Le Val Druel

Once you get there this is a comfortable place to stay on the outskirts of Dieppe and with parking right outside.

It took me (and my sat-nav) 1.5 hours to find it after arriving at Dieppe ferry port. Perhaps my sat-nav needs an upgrade but it just could not recognise the location and took me around in circles. I didn't book the 11euro full breakfast as I only wanted a croissant and a cup of coffee. But for just this I was charged over 7euros. Too much!

Lovely Staff and on duty on our late arrival. Close to Dieppe ferry terminal, free parking, comfortable bed, good breakfast and out of the harbour ready for our onward journey.

Could have been better sign posted, we toured the local shopping area and housing estate a number of times before we found it. Glad we arrived on the late crossing as the roads were quiet or we would have annoyed the other road users.

Clean & basic facilities all fine. Quiet despite being on an 'industrial estate'. Adequate parking although the gated enclosure is never actually closed or secured, albeit well lit with floodlights. Useful to have 24hr reception especially for late (11pm) ferry arrivals.

A little more space in the room and a bigger window.

The staff were extremely helpful. I had some medication on me which needed to be kept cool. They immediately put it into their refrigerator for me and returned it the next morning when l left. Plenty of room in the car park. The breakfast was excellent!

Fantastic place to stay. Pet friendly. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. Very easy to find and loads of parking spaces. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was a normal ibis quality.staff were helpful and positive.

Area did not feel safe or a good environment to relax in. Next door restaurant had burnt and was derelict. Not a great welcome. The pillows were too soft and shapeless with no availability in room for better ones.

Because of Covid the restaurant was not open but the reception did offer a limited choice of 4 dishes which she made so they must be prepared and she just microwaved them but that was good enough all things considered. So they made the effort to provide some food after a long journey, I think that the receptionists both in the evening and the one in the morning were most helpful and pleasant.

I must admit that the hotel is difficult to find, even my satnav struggled. I think that when you book a requirement is a detailed localised map that you can download. they do have them because the morning receptionist gave me a copy of one to get me to the ferry port. If they could put that on their website that would be a great help.

Nice and close to Dieppe ferry port so handy for a sailing the next morning. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was clean. Restaurant did good food, there’s not that many other places around to eat.

only had one towel for 2 people. small room.

Easy to locate and in great close proximity to Dieppe port.

There wasn’t anything we experienced that we didn’t like about the hotel. We didn’t dine at all, or use the bar so cannot comment.

A comfortable stay as always, whilst room is not huge, the hotel does the job. Good coffee, helpful friendly staff. Great for getting off the evening ferry from Newhaven as you can rely on their 24 hour check in desk. Also good parking
