A small B&B with original features offering excellent value. Rooms were very clean. Lovely to have a communal area in which to sit and relax rather than on a bed in the evening. Very good breakfast, particularly the fresh orange juice. Ramon was extremely friendly and helpful. Free parking in the street outside. Note that the property is directly opposite the church which is where street name changes, despite it appearing to be one straight continuous road.

Lack of coat-hangers, but spoke to Ramon about this so hopefully it will be rectified.

Romain was a wonderful host who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. His friendly and affable manner instantly puts people at ease. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful and we particularly liked the fact we could use the kitchen facilities during the day and evening to chill wine etc. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard in the early evening and talking over the day's events. The accommodation was extremely well situated for all the D day sites and the free parking throughout the town was a bonus. All in all we would recommend Le Maroni on the basis of Romain's hospitality and its excellent value for money. We wish Romain every success with his business venture and hope to return one day.. Everything was perfect! The host is friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, comfortable beds, new towels, kettle with tea and coffee. We had the big room because we stayed several nights, so we also had a separate sitting area which was lovely. Hot water and powerful shower. Good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Freshly cooked eggs available, and the bread and croissants were delicious. Breakfast was in the kitchen and Romain (the host) was there - lovely to chat with him. It's also possible to use the microwave and fridge. Free parking nearby.

The bed was so comfortable and the room was lovely! The location was great and very central in the town and the courtyard and kitchen were lovely place to sit and have a bite to eat and yet Romain’s amazing service topped everything. He really made our stay as wonderful as possible and always had a delicious breakfast waiting for us in the morning. Would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a marvellous surprise this was. On a most dull street with a brown front door and faded sign, we were dubious about entering. Inside, however, we were welcomed heartily by a young man who showed us to an immaculate room with fabulous bathroom. It’s an old property that has been modernised sympathetically whilst retaining some existing historic features. We learnt that the sign is faded because it’s a listed building and he needs permission to change it.

The entrance hall could benefit from enhanced decoration and softening features, like colour, plants, pictures.

Such a special place, everything was just perfect. The host, Ramon, was a very kind and special human, he helped us with every request and he also provided a very good breakfast for us 🤍. The room was very cozy, the details also. The outdoor patio was also special, had that french feeling all over, just to enjoy the wine and the stars in the night and a coffee in the morning🌠 Location, close to main attractions, beach and restaurants,

Excellent accommodation. ideally situated within walking distance to restaurants, bars, beaches etc. and to travel to all the D-Day sights. Romain the owner was an excellent host, very friendly, helpful and attentive. We were able to use the kitchen/dinning room on an evening for making meals ourselves. The breakfast was superb and the rooms were exceptional.

Very clean organized place, the small reception downstairs with the TV leading to the bedroom upstairs, very comfy bed, all linen were clean and smelling good. In general we loved the place with the great breakfast Romain prepared (great guy!).

Only thing was a bit disturbing was the church bell right in front of the place, ringing from 7 am till 7 pm every half an hour, kind of got used to it though

Perfect accommodation with a perfect host. The location in the town can’t be better, the room is super clean and comfortable, breakfast simply yummy, everything is better than one can wish for.

The Internet connection is available only in some areas, but it works okay, so no reason to really complain.

The property was perfect, the communication with the host was great. The rooms were tastefully furnished, very clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it!
