Appart City Bordeaux Centre

We genuinely enjoyed our stay at ApartCity. There were 5 of us - 2 adults, 2 teenage boys and a 7yo child. We shared a 2 bedroom apartment on the 8th floor. It was lovely. The apartment wasn't huge, but there was enough room for all of us, the kitchen was well equipped, although it could do with more plates and mugs. But it was OK, we shared. The beds were super comfortable, and there was enough linen and towels. The apartment was clean, homely and had a great view from the balcony. We didn't use public transport, but walked to the city centre instead. It took 17 minutes to get to the Cathedral, 7 more to get to the river. If we decide to go back to Bordeaux we will definitely stay at the ApartCity.

Just three little things: 1. The smell on the 8th floor corridor was rather horrible, especially in the evening. 2. Compared with other hotels breakfast here definitely wasn't worth €9/person, There were mostly jam, hazelnut spread and pancakes available. It was OK, but both my boys left the hotel rather hungry. 3. There were lots of nuts in open containers in the breakfast room, very dangerous for those allergic to nuts. I am allergic (luckily, not very severely) to hazelnuts, so I tried to avoid that area, but the particles could have been easily spread all over the place.

Excellent location for our purposes. The kitchenette was well equipped and the rooms' size adequate. The beds were comfortable and of good size. Adequate temperature for our needs.

The cleaning service is not clear. Although it is an aparthotel, during our stay of 11 nights the room was never cleaned or the sheets and towels changed. The toiletry supplies were not refilled. We were not provided enough information as to how to requests those services. The service would improve is there was a lounge type room. The breakfast room has a good size, however, even out of breakfast time, guests are not allowed to spare time in the room.

The staff was friendly. I left my bags in a room (locked, only staff had jey) for free so we could see the city until the plane. When we came to pick them they opened another room so I could sort things and reduce bags number for plane. That was super helpful. Location: near ( in the street behind , less than 200m) tram line and buses. It has laundry machine and dryer. It needs to install the laundry app ok phone to pay. The prices are ok and detergent is included (inside machine). It is a room with a kitchnette in a small space (between room and bathroom). It has a small dishwasher and refrigerator though. Good space in shower. The water has good pressure, and hot/cold water is stable. There are incastrated wardrobes with sliding doors with lots of space (also with hangers )

The facilities are not new but are in good conditions. It is helpful to have some note near the electric stove so you can remember the off position ( it may be removed due to cleaning through years). A sharp knife would be helpful (didn't found it).

After a good staying back a few months ago we decided to go for a second time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Reception is open until late (around 11pm I think). Bedroom is big and comfy. Hotel is very nice a tram stop, so very easy to go to the city center and the airport.

The only thing that it could improve is to offer more shampoo and shower gel. It was really too few for two nights and two people, and there is no room service every day to replenish it. But I believe if I had asked they would have provided me with more.

Spacious and clean room with airconditioning. The small kitchen had all we need for a modest meal. This is a very good three stars hotel. The staff was, in general, helpful.

We included breakfast but the time is narrow, until 9am. We were late to breakfast, around 9:30am, and the lady at the restaurant looked down upon us as if we were bugs, quite an unpleasant situation that ruined my morning (that's why I give 10 - 2). Her answer was just "oui oui oui" all the time, then ignored us and did nothing. Fortunately the other members of the staff were approachable. The location is slightly isolated. The shower kept slipping down.

Very spacious apartment, extremely clean and well located to the tramline. The kitchen was fully equipped which was a nice surprise. Check in and out was a smooth and easy process. Reception staff were happy to help and answer any questions. Would absolutely book again!

The kitchen and bathroom were a little tired, but honestly made no difference

Nice apartment with reception and if you arrive late you get code for key. Comfortable and not too far from centre. Hotels and bars around.

Fridge was defrosted and when we opened it smell was unreal....line a rotten meat! Need more cleaning in details like that and in bathroom was smell of sewage. Wending machine downstairs was nearly empty so nothing to drink water or juice...

I loved the comfort! Also, free parking around on weekends! Decent for your Bordeaux visit and good design, very tasteful. All conveniences available!

No bed lamps and the corridor gets a bit creepy at night because there aren’t lights everywhere so at some point I felt like I was in the ‘Shining’ 😹

The girl who worked the evening shifts at reception on the 9 and 10 June was simply amazing. The air conditioning in the hotel was broken and room very hot but her customer service and personal attention to resolving the issue was remarkable and she enabled us to enjoy our stay despite the issue.

Accomodation chosen as the one with best quality/price ratio. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The position was good as the building is close to a tram stop that brings you straight into the city centre. The staff was professional and helpful.

Over a period of 4 days/3 nights they never entered the room to clean or change towels or toilette paper. Especially toilette paper shouldn't be something the guest would ask for
