ibis budget Albi Centre

Great value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful at check-in and the location is excellent (the bus station for my day trip to Cordes sur Ciel was a one minute walk from the hotel, so if you're doing a bus trip the next morning, it's perfect.) There's a pizza place a few doors down too. No bad odours in the room or any of the other problems you'd worry about for the price category. Great for travelling on a budget as there is no compromise on cleanliness or safety.

No problems while staying here

We needed a hotel room for one night to sleep and have breakfast the next day. Ibis was perfect for this. It was clean and 5 minutes walk to center of town. Breakfast was very good. My two children (12 and 16 , both petite) fit comfortably in the beds with me. We had a standard room.

We were a little surprised that we were expecting to make up the top bunk bed. We ended up not using it because my older child slept in the Murphy bed. But it would have been a challenge to make and if I were older or disabled, it would’ve been dangerous to make up the top bunk.

Reception without problem, staff friendly, most of them multilingual. Lobby and breakfast room very comfortable and friendly furnished, particulary lobby and bar area large enough. Breakfast plentyful and good

ROOM DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM WAS HORRIBLE. Shower not suitable for larger persons. Coffee machines in the breakfast room were very loud and could be better. Cleanelyness in the breakfast room could be better

My room on the 4th floor was extremely comfortable. One of my best night's sleep on this trip. Colorful modern decor. The reception area is "cool" and atmospheric. If I had had more time in Albi, the ground floor would have been the place! Staff was helpful in providing me a map of the city and then holding my luggage behind the counter as I ventured around beautiful Albi the next day. If you are coming from La Gare, you can probably walk. I wound up taking the bus from La Gare to Place Jean Jaures, from which it is an easy stroll to Ibis. Just €1.10 to ride the bus. The attractive, atmospheric old quarter is an easy walk from the Ibis.

Breakfast was ok

Well I would have liked to make tea in my room rather than going to reception for hot water. When I wake up I like a cup of tea. I feel it would have made my stay more enjoyable had I had a kettle in my room and be able to have tea when I want. Also the bunk bed above me was so annoying as I kept hitting my head against it when I forgot it was there.

The young staff were friendly, smiling and accomodating, they loved our dog to which was nice. The bed had a comfortable mattress and the room simple and clean. Overall a great budget stay.

The breakfast was fine, pretty standard for France but the topping up of things was a bit poor and admittedly we came late and without booking the night before. From a professional point of view it is an attention to detail issue that staff will hopefully learn in time, casting an eye over everything is an important need in the service industry. We would have 180 wide beds being taller and wider than most French people, this is the same almost everywhere we travel here. A bath mat would have been useful as if you don’t shut the shower door correctly it goes on the floor.

We loved this hotel! The location is excellent in the centre and close to a beautiful park wheee we could walk the dog. The staff were super friendly and we also appreciated the elevator connected with the parking as we travelled with a baby. Will repeat!

Decent size room which was very clean. Very close to the center with all sightseeing. Lots of people at the reception so there is always someone available to help you. Large area in general next to the reception to rest, have coffee and play some games installed there. Also, there is underground parking.

The staff made me feel so welcome. The parking was amazing value and the location is incredible. The room has everything you need in and I would not hesitate to come back!

The location was short walk to the city center. Secured car parking for 6 euro. The room was quiet, comfortable, clean and expectations. Staff speak perfect English and we're helpful with city map and pointing out sites to see. Good price point. Excellent breakfast for 6 Euro.
