Boxes of breakfast Covid is now over so a buffet would have been better

The room was very clean, the staff nice and polite

There is a very small pool that you have to register in advance to use. The use is restricted to 30 minutes. Only kids got ro use the pool., because they had only room for 2 people. The hotel provides shuttle to the city. Also have to register. Couldn't use it, because it was full. I think if they decided to provide a shuttle, they could do it several times a day. The hotel is outside the city and it is quite expensive to take a taxi. You can use your car and look for parking in the city. Although we wrote to the hotel in advance that we need a gluten free food, nothing GF was provided. We had to bring our own food to the breakfast. The breakfast is served in a box and you get to choose between sweet and salty box. No changes can be made. The contents were not really suitable for us.

Room was soundproof with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good (although very heavy on sugar) and we appreciated the to-go quality as we would often eat on the go. It was also useful to have the complimentary laundry facility on our floor. Ample parking. Complimentary coffee/tea/juices were available 24/7. Our bathroom had heated a floor (nice touch!) and appeared to be newly renovated. The room itself is nothing special, but it was perfect for us as we were away most of the time. We were allowed to leave our cat in the room unattended without issue. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous and friendly. The location is unremarkable, but provides quick access to great restaurants/shopping and of course, Quebec City!

Can't leave any food waste in the room due to ants (I did not think the other reviews were true, but ants do live in the building). Our door was knocked on twice about 20 mins and 5 mins prior to check-out time, which was a little strange but probably just a miscommunication on the staff's part. Wi-Fi was pretty slow most of the time and could not handle video content. When we made a reservation for the pool, we quickly realized that we wouldn't be able to use it as there were too many people there already and the pool is too small to accommodate more than 3-4 people at a time.

All front staff were very attentive, Camilo was friendly and helpful, much appreciated, traveled with two dogs and they were treated very well , they got a bed, treats and bowls for their food. We received breakfast tickets, breakfast was a choice of salty or sweet and it comes in a box, cute! Dining area was clean with equipped with TV, a shuttle bus is provided to take you downtown, the entire property is well kept and clean, highly recommend it

Noticed they have Waffles makers, but that section was closed, would've enjoyed warm waffles!

The room was very comfortable with two queen beds and a large shower. I would have appreciated a handrail in the shower.

Restaurants were a bit of a walk for dinner and there was a little confusion about the shuttle picking us up to return to the hotel the first night and we had to pay a taxi. Breakfast was included in our rate but it was just a box with yogurt, fruit cup, cookie, a piece of cheese and either a muffin or a turkey and cheese croissant (croissant was on the soggy side). Not very appetizing.

Good value for money. the amenities and cleanliness is exceptional.

only negative point was that they didn’t provide any breakfast for both nights. The staff said they didn’t receive delivery due to “storm” while actually there was usual snow on the first day and everything was business as usual. they provided same excuse the second morning which made no sense at all as the weather was pleasant. when I asked more questions they confirmed that they did receive few boxes but they were all out (I went around 10.30). While they did compensate me for breakfasts but the money was not the point. It’s the way it was managed.

Great location and close to the highway - about 15 minutes to old Quebec (citadel, plains of Abraham etc). The provided breakfast boxes are excellent and come in either a salty or sweet configuration- something for everyone and so filling! unlimited coffee/juice/tea in the lobby too. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and although you could only book the pool for 30 minutes at a time it was a great time with an included splash pad - there’s also a little park at the side of the hotel hall with a swing and slide which is good for littler kids to get their energy out. Very, very happy with our stay here and will definitely book again when we come this way!

well the rooms are okey not that bad... coffee machine and juice bar 24/7 thats the awesome.. close by downtown

breakfast wasnt good everyday same stuff.. they need to chnage daily atlest change some iteams..compain about DVD player but no one came and resolved the issue... we stayed 4 nights and frustated with same everday breakfast box... no chnage..

This hotel the Dolphin was really good in every way from the box breakfast (you can ask for your box anytime of the day for a sweet or salty option surprisingly it was really good) outstanding clean rooms, comfortable and lovely bed and super friendly staff, this hotel is very organized for every guess, book in advance to use the pool facilities (no more then 10 people in the pool) for 30 minutes long.

There isn’t nothing to complain about this place.

The hotel is close to the highway and to many attractions. It is clean and well kept. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, in both French and English. They allow dogs and provide them with a pet bed, bowls and treats! Considering it is beside a busy highway, it is very quiet. They also offer a nice selection of complimentary hot and cold beverages and their boxed breakfast is much better than others I have had since this became the norm during COVID.
