Pemberley House Bed and Breakfast

The best part of this B&B are the owners who strive for excellence. We loved the hot breakfast which also includes a selection of 3 different selections of mixed fresh fruit bowls, a plate of vegetables, toast and jam, hash browns, coffee, juice, and a bite size chocolate bar. Breakfast was served in the dining room with music and original artwork to relax you and start your day off the right way. The parking was safe and well lit. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. The shower was hot and the towels were soft. If you like dogs, they have a sweet little dog that is happy to give you some pet therapy.

The B&B is exactly as they advertise and met our expectations.

The room was very comfortable; we appreciated having an en-suite bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious and served very punctually. We enjoyed chatting with our friendly hosts, and borrowing movies from their extensive DVD collection. The B&B is located within an easy drive of the shore of Lake Huron and The Pinery Provincial Park.

This is no fault of the hosts or the B&B, but Seaforth is a little lacking in amenities. When we were visiting the only restaurant that was open was the pizzeria.

Home made breakfast served with fresh fruits, vegetables. All foods are served on a set of beautiful Rayal Dulton's dishes. For our toast we could choose jams from 25 different kinds.It was fun to see so many different jams. The setting of the meals is so pretty and the kind that a woman loves it.

The setting of the air conditioning was too cold for me.

Breakfast was delicious with homecooked food and great fresh fruit! I enjoyed the host and hostess's friendly attitude and easily conversed with them. The home was pleasant and had a relaxed atmosphere. We were offered a 2nd room to use for putting our suitcases and clothing in which we chose not to use.

Room a bit small but certainly comfortable. Bathroom small!

The ambiance. Made me feel transported to another time or place, but with modern amenities. The location was easy to find, but there were some detours due to road construction.

Not wheelchair accessible. I was fine with the accessibility; however, am unable to recommend to some friends because of lack of accessibility. I suppose that may be pushing it, as it is still an historical home.

The hosts were very attentive and easy to chat with. The house is beautiful and our room was luxurious and very clean and quiet. The breakfast was incredible and super-filling as was the opportunity to chat with other guests.

Bring slippers because no shoes are allowed inside the house. My feet were a bit cold.

absolutely loved the old world interior, very comfortable and cosy.

we did book the double bedroom which was a little too small for my husband and the mattress could have been a little more comfortable , but the room was very clean and tidy.

Both breakfasts were fabulous - especially the French toast - and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruit! The house itself was a 'treasure' Nancy and John were the perfect hosts. Thanks for the cup of tea in the evening!

I really appreciate Nancy's and John's hospitality.Pemberly House is very clean and artistic.Breakfast was much better than most of the restaurants. I would definitely recommend everyone to choose this place for their stay.

The breakfasts were simply awesome! Location was nice and central to what we wanted to see.

Next time we would arrange for one of the rooms with ensuites.
