Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sherwood Park Edmonton

Very clean, room was comfortable and spacious, and having the kitchenette was a great bonus. It even has a little dishwasher and full fridge. Beds were reasonably comfortable, a little firmer than I like but not to cause me a bad night. Staff were mostly pretty friendly and helpful.

The only thing that disturbed us was that the bathroom door faces directly into where the beds are. That meant that when turning on the light switch which is outside of the bathroom, the glare may disturb your partner if they are sleeping facing that way. This layout can’t be changed, so if anyone is a light sleeper and easily disturbed by the light going on, best to take a torch of nightlight to reduce partner disturbance.

The staff are simply the best we have experienced anywhere, and we have stayed at many hotels and motels over the years, as we travel to see our family spread out across western Canada twice a year. Not to mention our many overseas leisure trips as well. We have almost always had good experiences with staff elsewhere, but usually only with a few as you will run into the odd staff member who is not so friendly. However at Days Inn & Suites Sherwood Park all our interactions with staff were excellent encounters. And the morning breakfast buffet is a welcome bonus, especially considering the great rate for the room.

The cooling and heating system. During our earlier summer stay, it was very difficult to get the room temp below 23 degrees and during our recent winter stay this prooved to be true as well. So the air conditioning in the summer was not sufficient to cool the room as much as we would have wanted, and conversely in the winter we were unable to reduce the heat in the room to a more comfortable temp; even though we first turned down the thermostat at night to 17, finally turning it off. Still the room hovered close to 20 - 21, much too warm for us overnight.

Great hotel, excellent staff. Hotel is relatively new. Ample free parking. Free breakfast. Comfortable bed. My room had full size fridge and high quality microwave oven and coffee maker. Small work desk for computer work was an added bonus. Overall, great stay. Recommended.

For free breakfast, plates were not warmed, and a couple of times the food was not as hot as I like it -- otherwise, lots of breakfast items. Breakfast staff were very attentive and courteous.

Breakfast offered lots of choices; the beds and pillows were of good quality and comfortable, our room was very clean. Staff were welcoming, helpful and respectful.

The air conditioner was noisy. We were informed when we checked in that a group of ball players had reserved rooms. By 10:30 PM the ballers were running and jumping on the floor above us, even our floor shook. It took 2 calls to the desk after10:30 PM before they settled. Not really the fault of the Hotel but I would check before my next booking to see if there are any group bookings.

The staff were very helpful. My room had some issues but they quickly changed it without question. the facilities provided for the price were great. The breakfast was great too.

I did not like the AC. Sometimes it would stop completely and we didn't know what was going on. It was close to one of the queen beds which made anyone sleeping on it feel cooler than others.

we stay all the time here , from out of province and feel secure in this facility, enjoy your meals , was cold in the facility but repairing was going on .

I did bring my concern to the reception that the ceiling in the bathroom was dirty with slime ? and was visible when in the shower and steam buildup. And understand that isn’t done in between visitors but it needs to be reported.

So friendly and accommodating! Large rooms with kitchenette. I stayed here with my wedding party and everyone was extremely happy. They provided a breakfast buffet, with waffles toast bacon sausage and the eggs were really good. They also allowed early check-in as well as late check-out at no additional cost. The staff were extremely friendly. If you're having any kind of event or if you need somewhere to stay in Sherwood Park, I would highly recommend you stay here.

Nothing it was amazing

I was impressed with the attention staff paid to the booking. I had requested a non smoking room but had inadvertently booked a smoking room. Mackenzie questioned the discrepancy, contacted me, re booked the room and had everything sorted before I started the trip. After a 20 hour workday and a 6 hour drive the last thing I needed was to have to deal with an error in the booking. Exceptional work Mackenzie and greatly appreciated. This hotel offers a hot takeout breakfast and the gentleman manning the steam tables makes sure you have everything you need and want before you leave. At a time when most hotels are using Covid as an excuse to offer little or nothing at all this hotel is leading by example. You have a winning formula there, don't change it. As someone who regularly stays in hotels I can and do highly recommend this one.

Not so much a didn't like but the wireless connection could be more reliable.

Very clean. You can smell when we walked into our room. it was clean. Liked that at breakfast, someone served it to you. Not all these hands on the food. Lots of choices and well presented. Location was also good. close to a lot of amenities. The kitchen was also nice.

Toilet had issues flushing and the hairdryer only worked if you kept the ‘ON’ button pressed.

Clean and friendly! Great to be able to have a room that would accommodate our small dog. Great location! Front desk staff helpful with information.

Our room's air conditioning didn't work, but it was easy enough to open the window. I let them know when we checked out. The breakfast room could have used more staff as it was a little chaotic for the one server.
