Motel 6 Airdrie

The staff were so friendly and helpful with aspects they had control over. The front desk person, Michael, was great, answering our phone calls and he was so welcoming. The cleaning staff also were exceptional, friendly, efficient and thorough. The offer of coffee 24/7 and bananas is very good: no need for extensive clean-up or food care, but gets a nice basic start to the day. Microwave near the coffee station was clean. I was very impressed with the pool and the hot tub as well - big enough for a workout and the hot tub was actually hot! And very clean. We selected Motel 6 for its location and access to Calgary, and points north but the place was definitely nice enough to make our stay very pleasant. We were there a week.

Motel 6 has a pet policy, which is fine so I expected animals. However, some people left barking dogs in the room. When owners could not be reached, there was nothing to be done and it continued, intermittently, over four days. Could there be a consequence of a signed revocation of the stay if animals are left untended? Annoying for guests. Potentially dangerous for staff entering a room unaware.

The room had all the basic amenities location was great for us and we especially loved the COLD air conditioning on the very hot days we were in town. The beds are comfortable.

Very basic amenities, not much place to put your belongings if you wish to unpack if you are staying for a long while. A few drawers and a slightly bigger bathroom would make this better.

The front desk lady promptly responded to our 1:30am complaint about loud voices on the room next to us. Feeling grateful and impressed by her attention, we were able to sleep well in such comfortable beds, spacious and clean room. This is a hotel minimalistic decorated but looking pretty. We missed two amenities in the room: iron and iron board plus coffee maker. Coffee, tea and fruit are available at the lobby. We recommend this hotel

There were a very noise guests next door. A phone call to the fronte desk staff was helpful and by 2am the loud voices stopped.

The bed was very comfortable and the room included a lot for the size. like the mini fridge built into the wall for example. we enjoyed our stay. I also appreciated that the cleaning staff found me a clothes iron when I asked, because we were in Airdrie for a wedding.

A microwave and a coffee maker would have made it a little better but overall I felt it was a good deal for the price.

I liked the fact they had a mug room in order to get your coffee, most hotels give you 1 or 2 coffee pods and then your on your own. The place felt nice, air conditioning worked. You where a 4 minut walk to superstore/tim hortons for any goods. You are also a 9 minute walk to the 900 bus which takes you through airdrie, crossiron mills and calgary.

No usb phone charger in the room bring your own, don't think they had a breakfest if your into that.

The room was perfect and the bed was comfy. The heat/air conditioning worked well. I love the location. I don’t worry about my car and any contents left overnight. It’s also a good area to walk the dog. There is a nice eco pond a block away that is very nice for dog walking.

There is no coffee in the room, and that’s fine, but there wasn’t any hot coffee downstairs either. I’ll bring coffee makings next time.

We liked the staff, friendly, very helpful & kind. Cleaning lady was very accommodating . Room was comfortable. Great Stay!

No Breakfast!!. Some motels are cheaper and serve breakfast. The location is not the best, hard to get to. Also, a smell came out of the sink when you put the water on in the bathroom, toilet didn't work properly.

The hotel was clean and comfortable for the price.

Location is somewhat out of the way and not close to convenience stores or restaurants. Being put on the 2nd floor with 2 service dogs was an inconvenience, having to go on the elevator all the time.

Pretty clean and reasonably quiet. Floor below had dogs so could hear barking but it settled down before it got late.

Very modern room, was like a Johnny Cab futuristic room of Total Recall lol. Bed is crazy firm, so good for your back but hard but decent. Staff was really nice and had a good stay.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and nice hot shower were the strong points.

Just bananas for breakfast- yogurt, apples, oranges, bagels & spreads would be a nice addition. Coffee wasn’t ready until 6:00 am - 5:00 am would have been better. Juice selections would be a nice addition as well.
