This hotel is utterly fabulous!!!! I especially liked the complimentary hot drinks and saved me purchasing my own :) There is a constant lovely smell throughout and I was located on the ground floor. My room was fantastic as it was spacious, bed sank into and shower is heavenly. Location wise u can walk everywhere and a street behind the shopping district. I highly recommend anyone to stay here, you will not be disappointed!

The only criticism I have is being on the ground floor, facing the street. I could hear people walking past. It did not disturbed my sleep (however), I would have preferred not to be directly on the street.

Great Location, very stylish and new hotel. Beautiful room and bathroom, comfortable beds.

In general this is not a true 5-star hotel, there are just a few things that don’t add up. eG hallway carpets are not vacuumed, cleaning closet constantly open, trays in front of doors etc. Also, housekeeping came only by at 5:30 pm, when we were back in the room, so our room was not done. The breakfast concept is very questionable, as there is no buffet and a very limited variety of (vegan) foods, that are pre-arranged on a tray. it took forever for the food to arrive (the couple next to us waited over 30 minutes). The staff is all over the place and nobodies knows what the others are doing. Better to eat out!

New hotel - high class. Style in each detail, spacious room with nice elements including coffee machine and bath stuff. Very stylish and gym at ground level was very functional too. And you feel history in building. Bath and shower was impressive including all necessary amenities. I will come back definitely! Price is very reasonable for such quality.

Location is great, city centre, main Meir street is 2 minutes walking. But area outside hotel is just simple street ;) bed matrace is strange. Comfy, but strange - like small mountains in some parts.

The hotel is very nicely designed, the room was beautiful and spacious and the location was great. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

Only downside was the breakfast, which I think was a miscommunication as well. No one explained how breakfast works, what we receive etc. Just that there is a set menu and additional choices cost extra. They served us a platter with 4 little dishes, all of which weren’t very appealing to us. Then we realized we can order something additional from the menu, but actually they didn’t have half of the stuff. Finally my wife settled on a vegan waffle, which was not great. I received a kind of mushroom toastie, which was ok. Rather just have breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel is beautiful and ideal location! The rooms are opulent and have so much room!

The only thing I would say which is personal taste would be the breakfast. I understand the vegan concept but when you are paying over £200 per night there should still be option advertised for meat eaters and those that choose this should not be frowned upon for this option. I felt the staff didn't want us to have the non vegan option even by day 4 still frowned upon. I respect the vegan choices however when I have paid so much I expect respect on my choice back too

The location was convenient. The staff were friendly and efficient. Everything was clean. It was an attractive property. The vegan breakfast was unusual but tasty and plentiful. Nice showers. Tea and coffee in room.

Poor sound insulation in our room. We could hear every single sound from the next room, which was especially disturbing at night. Not much space for hanging towels and bathrobes in the bathroom. No possibility to bolt the door. Two small suggestions re the breakfast room: 1) Why not offer vegan margarine, since butter is not an option? 2) Newspapers would be a bonus.

super friendly staff, we received an immediate upgrade when we told them there were some issues with our original room. they gave us a lot of recommendations (check out the hotel instagram) and helped us find some cool spots. the bed is really comfi and i loved the Diptyque amenities in the bathroom. location is perfect for us: close to the main shopping and restaurant areas, but in a quiet street. well connected via tram to other parts of town, and within walking distance of most of the sights.

we had a minor hiccup with a smell in our bathroom, but this was solved very quickly.

Staff were very helpful with travel details and they were friendly. The room was beautiful and quiet. Very spacious so great for 2 travellers. Desk and room for some yoga even! Little touches were lovely like the diamonds and decor of the hotel is gorgeous. I had drinks at the bar which were great. There was a fridge, kettle, glasses and coffee maker in the room which was great. I would come back here with my husband.

Occasionally there is a smell in the bathroom. But this is common in Antwerp and didn't last long.

The Location is great and the rooms are very confortable. The bathroom is nice but I would have like to have some extra toiletries as hand cream , and a hair dryer. The parking is next to the hotel and normally you can access the hotel directly using the elevator , which was not working the day of our arrival. But it didn't bother us as we only had to walk a very short distance. The personal is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not what we expected in a Marriot Hotel. Nice served but lack of variety for our taste ,the bread was hard, the ham was poor quality and we asked for butter and we received it was frozen . They explained that it was not "real" butter. Later we learned that they have a "vegan cuisine " Which we noticed too late. I would book the room again but not eat there

The hotel opened just 4 months ago so everything is brand new. The hotel itself is very beautiful and perfectly located to discover the city. There's even a parking space just around the corner. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they love a little chat which makes you feel welcome. Breakfast was very good (and a lot). It is a plant-based menu, which might be not everyone's favourite. Yet you could also order eggs, bacon … on request and they took on a dialogue to listen to people's feedback about the plant-based vision. So in the future they might offer more options. But I have to say: didn't leave the breakfast table feeling hungry! Very delicious. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant, so can't say anything about that. The rooms was very clean and cosy and finished with eye for detail. We only stayed for one night but am already thinking about going back.
