Hotel Zeitgeist Vienna Hauptbahnhof

It was an incredible surprise to discover a spacious, impeccably clean, and free dry sauna of exceptional quality with a high temperature. I had the privilege of enjoying it on two separate occasions, and to my delight, I had the entire sauna to myself. Adjacent to the sauna, there is a cozy relaxation room where one can comfortably sit or recline. Moreover, outside the relaxation room, amidst lush greenery, there is a charming setup consisting of a table and a pair of chairs. The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, only a 5-minute walk from the Central train station. The staff members are genuinely friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service at both the reception desk (even during late hours) and the bar. During my visit to the bar, I ordered tea to take back to my room, and to my surprise, I received a tastefully presented teapot with a ceramic mug, along with a delightful and flavorsome tea. The hotel, as a whole, possesses a unique charm, evident in its meticulous attention to detail (such as the fully soundproofed restroom) and its intriguing history of inception. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Vienna.

The location is great for the main railway station, my husband and I are inter-railing around Europe. As soon as you come out of the station there are unmissable signs and it is an easy short walk. It is just a couple of underground stops from the museum quarter and all the coffee houses that we wanted to visit. The room was sparkling clean and had a great layout: toilet separate to huge sink/mirror and walk in shower. Can’t believe such a great room in such a good location is so reasonably priced - wow! They serve great coffee in the hotel cafe too!

Beyound Expectation! Great value, don't miss it! I only expected an "OK"-ish hotel, but Hotel Zeitgeist Vienna Hauptbahnhof was way more than that and amazing! I traveled with my parents, they love it as well. The breakfast was very nich, have various choice; the location is great, next to the hotel, there's a supermarket, only few minutes walk from train station to hotel. Room was very clean, and i just love that our room was facing the backyard, which was very quite in the night The wifi speed is also very fast

The pillow is a bit too soft, and we can hear the people walking and talking in the hallway very clear, but it didn't screw our entire experience :)

Staff is really helpful and kind, real hosts. Hotel is located near (very close) to railway/subway/bus station which are excellent start point to explore Vienna. Also, hotel owns parking garage so you can leave your car there and go see sighting by public transportation. Rooms are very good, modern and functional.

We booked two rooms, one with single "king size" bed, and other with two beds. We got both rooms with two ("twin") beds. Also, they had confirmation of payment for only one room, while i payed for both in advance.

Hotel Zeitgeist has a very special spirit (Geist in German). The first time we stayed there in 2015 and now 7 years later visiting Vienna again it was the first and only choice of hotel because of that spirit. Everything was excellent from the exceptional location (5 mins walking from the central train station), amazingly friendly staff to clean and cozy rooms as well as the breakfast with the widest choice of meals. Hotel Zeitgeist is the only place we'll be staying ever in Vienna and we're already planning to come back pretty soon.

There is literally nothing we didn't like, everything is exceptional.

Location is great! Billa supermarket is just right downstair and 5 minutes walking distance to the Wien Hbf (main train station). Room is clean and large enough for family of four and one more bicycle. :-) One female staff at the front desk is helpful and also informative to every question we raised to her.

Parking is expensive that I decided to return my rental car two days earlier and travel in the Wien City by Bolt.

Great location close to the station. Really lovely breakfast with large choice of things to eat, using very high quality ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast room light and airy with comfortable and stylish chairs and tables. The atmosphere in the breakfast room was also pleasant; it was possible to linger for as long as you wanted and watch other diners come and go.

Quite nw hotel, nice rooms and interesting background with regard to construction of hotel and choice of used interior design. Very close to hauptbahn station. We also liked the soundproof walls.

Basic inventory, however basic, no tea/coffee facilities, fridge and complementary water.. But good restaurant downstairs and in near environment.

The hotel looks new, facilities were good and room for 3 person was spacious. Train and tram stations are nearby. Supermarket just beside the hotel.

The toilet is separate from the shower (which is perfect) however the toilet does not have a sink so we will need to use the sink in the shower to wash our hands after doing the ‘deed’

The hotel is located close to public transportation, which makes it easy to get to the city center quite quickly, and it's also comfortable getting from or to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gym is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It could have been great to have more gym equipment.
