Located in the wonderful suburb of Petrie. The motel is perfectly located nearby transport, restaurants, cafes, take away, barbers, gelato and only a shot drive in either direction to major shopping centres. Only 35 to 45 minute drive to the city and offers everything you could possibly ask for in a motel. Woolworths is less than a 2 minute stroll away for all your conveniences and the onsite cafe is incredible, with some of the best pasta I’ve had in years so definitely try their Turkish toasties and other menu items to be delighted like we were. Allison the onsite manager, is the most friendly and helpful person you will find and please do try her cooking from the cafe, as it will blow you away. Overall my husband Neil and I loved it here, so much so we are looking to move into the area. Please check them out for a restful and comfortable stay.

The hotel was amazingly compact but spacious as well. The bed was fine and comfortable but personally I need a harder mattress but that is not the fault of the hotel. The room was very comfortable to stay in and very quiet which I enjoyed. For a last minute booking it was a hassle free experience and my only interaction with the friendly staff was the check in and out & the great coffee on location in the morning of checkout.

Honestly can not fault the place. It was a last minute booking and it was a well presented room with facilities wasn't expecting. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but that is my preference and not the fault of the hotel at all.

The room itself was fantastic - everything was well thought out and a lot put into a little space. Nice touches such as quality tea bags (Tetley not the cheap rubbish a lot of place provide) a complimentary mini bottle of water and very modern and very clean. Very comfortable pillows and bed are always appreciated. The place was also easy to find.

The only negative was the traffic noise which unfortunately kept us awake most of the night - double glazing would be great. I would be tempted to try and come back again though and try ear plugs see if it makes a difference as I was so impressed with the place.

From the phonecall I made to check what time they closed their office for checkin as we were running late to to the last meal we had as we left. Everything was perfect ! The rooms were clean fresh and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to get out of it every morning ! The food was beautiful & the coffee was amazing 😋 I would stay here anytime ! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who were our hosts & looked after us as it was a pleasure & see u next time we are down your way for the next trip ❤️

While the location is dated, it is definitely undergoing upgrading which will fit in well with his well-maintained hotel. Very comfy beds and pillows, aircon, Wi-Fi, smart tv, tea/coffee, toaster, microwave and fridge. While I stayed just to relax and get away, which I was able to do, if I were travelling for work this would be excellent. Plenty of power points too. Would love to have tried the cafe but it wasn't quite ready for relaunch yet.

Light from the bathroom was good for daytime but woke me in the morning. Front curtains/roller blinds were fine but they weren't facing the sun

Great owner operated motel business. Super helpful and friendly owner Robbo assisted with replacement of batteries for air conditioner when called withing 1 min, nothing was too much trouble- Fabulous shower pressure and room was spotless with lots of great amenities such as tea, coffee making , microwave, cutlery etc all that you need for a comfy stay. Extra pillows provided additional comfort to great nights sleep . Car parking right outside your door. A word for the mobility impaired ask for a room on the ground floor as the stairs can be a bit of a challenge if you have mobility issues . You wont be disappointed when you stay here on your overnight trip.

The lady on reception was absolutely delightful. So friendly & helpful. I had trouble access my room with the electronic key and nothing was to much trouble to sort the issue out. There is a cafe on site that serves up lovely fresh meals as well. There is a pub a short stroll down the road & a supermarket next door for all your needs.

There is onsite parking, which is great, however the carpark is very tight & difficult to manoeuvre in if you have a car larger than a sedan or small SUV.

The staff go out of their way to help guests. They are friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. This motel is especially handy for solo female travellers. There is a small shopping centre right next door with a supermarket, chemist, post office, etc. The motel also offers ground floor and accessible rooms. Free on-site parking. Within walking distance of express train station (only 30 minutes to Central Station) and buses to North Lakes, Redcliffe beaches, and Chermside.

There was only one minor drawback to staying here. I found that the mattress was too soft for my back, but, of course, that's a matter of personal preference. The great thing was the set of spare pillows in the wardrobe.

I was impressed with the reception on my arrival and the assistance offered to me to find my way the next day. The staff was more than helpful in making me feel very welcome and letting me know the dining arrangements that were offered by the Motel. The Motel was central to where I was needing to get to and easy to find. Thank you for making my stay pleasurable.

I was only there for one night and had no problem at all with anything.

Proprietor and her team were really helpful and friendly. Immaculate and well equipped rooms and delicious food in the on site Cafe 29. Ideal location in Petrie with bus stop literally on the doorstep and train station, church and supermarket all within a 10 minute walk.

Can't think of anything they need to improve on.
