Ingenia Holidays Taigum (Formerly Colonial Village)

I liked everything from the rooms the cabin to the location. Not to far from our event or shopping centres. Good communication with reception for late check in.

Tv in the lounge was too small. There was no paper with rules and instructions etc in my after hours welcome pack just and envelope with keys in it and a map on the back. Couldn't tell what was what on the envelope for the Wi fi as there was no instructions given. It would of been nice if the pool was in the middle of the place so it's easier for everyone to access. Besides those couple things me and my friends really enjoyed our stay.

Villa lounge, kitchen and bathroom area was large and comfortable, and very clean. The front verandah area was great, with a dining setting and relatively private and pleasant to sit out in. Kitchen was equipped with essential items including a dishwasher and washing machine. The main bedroom was large, airy and pleasant. We didn’t use the pool so no comments there. The location was 10 minutes walk from a shopping centre with supermarkets and a couple of restaurants. The gardens were lovely.

The second bedroom is very small, dark and poky. The facility as a whole is tired and some of the other cabins and rooms looked ancient. There should be a gate in the perimeter fence to allow you to walk the entire way to the shops along the green belt, instead of having to walk along the road. We were there to attend a family event nearby, so it was handy for that, but to be honest I don’t know what other reasons you’d choose to stay in that part of the city. I don’t know what other things there are to do in the vicinity. We took a taxi into the city and it cost over $60 so we were quite a distance away.

very clean, good size room, lovely garden and very comfortable, quality mattress.

The WIFI was atrocious (it didn’t work in my room at all) however when I discussed with the staff and manager they were very understanding and accommodating and took responsibility for the inconvenience of the lack of WIFI in the room for my stay, which also wins them points as a good venue. thanks.

Friendly staff, I had a great room which they gave me.and the holiday park was a very nice place., happily stay there again in future.

This is not a complaint , unfortunately the pool was closed while there and coming from a cold country I was looking forward to that. I had a great room with all amenities but for some reason it did not have a toilet brush so I had to ask the cleaner to borrow hers.

The room was adequate for what we wanted. It was comfortable and the TV was excellent.

A toilet cleaning brush would be a good idea. Probably the worst shower I have ever had. I am always amazed that the water pressure is made to be SO low. If the pressure was better the time in the shower would be an awful lot less.

Location was great for us.the room where we were was fantastic,the staff n the manager if the hotel made us feel welcome n been looked after well.we will suggest Ingenia motel to our friends .

Nothing,on our first night we thought of the noise from yhe main road, but it was OK later.

The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The lights were a little dark but okay. A lovely quiet place as I requested a quiet room. Lovely gardens and pool area.

I would liked to have had bowls, dinner plates and knives & forks included, as we bought dinner and only had a teaspoon to eat it with.

My kids loved the pool area And the Billabong cabin was amazing plenty of space for everyone to relax spa was amazing,beds super comfy 😊 This was our second stay in the cabin and we be booking again in the future

We did have a small issue accessing the WiFi but we didn't mind it was a device free weekend so it wasn't need anyway

our Billabong villa was nice and clean, free of mozzies, there were a couple of odd cockroaches but there was a spray under the sink provided so no worries

air con was not cooling the living room during the day, however, it is not an issue at night time. cross ventilation is good with the cabin layout and the ceiling fan.

We were staying because of the short distance to the Bondall Entertainment Centre. Ingenia had everything we needed: shower, toilet and beds. Clean and comfy.

The bed linen was a bit scratchy and one display cushion was dirty, but nothing major. Beds and pillows were great 👍
