Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Christiansburg, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast exceeded my expectations due to the variety and quality of food offered. The lady managing the kitchen was extremely attentive and efficient.

The TV in my room wouldn't connect to the provider. I called the front desk and they suggested moving the HDMI cord. They said if this didn't work, they wouldn't be able to help me because no staff member was available to do that. Fortunately I know how to move HDMI cords, and I was able to get the TV to work, but it took a while to change channels. I think the front desk staff should be able to help out with this more, given the price I paid for 1 night. Otherwise I'd give this hotel 10 stars, because it was exceptionally clean and very quiet.

Staff is hard working. House keeping turned over something like 64 rooms out 74 for check out that night. I checked in at 8pm and they were working overtime to keep up. Front desk staff was very accommodating with getting extra bedding and towels. They also helped me upgrade to another room because we were to close to the door that was letting in 2nd hand smoke. Food was great for a holiday inn express.

Had to switch rooms because the hallway and our room smelled of second hand smoke. However, front desk staff was able to help out by moving us to another room. My 2 kids complained that the sofa bed was not comfy.

The lady that checked us in was so very nice. She was also there in the morning too. It was so pleasant to be greeted and departed by this friendly young lady. I forget her name. But would definitely stay again because of her. Room was nice, comfortable bed. Dirty carpet

Dirty carpet in room, not caused by not vacuuming. They need shampooed. Breakfast lady wasn't pleasant at all.

The staff were very helpful with our assigned rooms when we arrived and discovered they had put us in rooms on separate floors. We were with my 92 year old mother and needed to be close. They were able to find us adjoining rooms, even though they were very full, so we could be near her. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. We didn't use it, but the indoor pool was very nice looking.

The only negative was that the bathroom sinks did not work well in either room. They drained very slowly.

The beds were comfortable and had a choice of pillows. The shower was good and had a shower curtain that kept the splash off the floor.

The breakfast was pretty mediocre, but did offer a variety of selections so no one needed to go hungry. They did not, however, offer a filtered glass of cool water for all of us who like to begin the day with hydration. The water out of the tap was pretty poor quality.

Very comfortable and clean room and an EXCELLENT breakfast! We stayed here to break up a trip home from Baltimore to Augusta GA. Will stay here again coming and going in September. Room was $99 + tax. Can’t beat it for value! The breakfast for 2 was as good as Cracker Barrel which costs at least $25 for 2. Highly recommend this hotel!

It was perfect!

Staff was very welcoming and informative; answered all of my questions concerning the hotel and the surrounding areas.

The internet was not reliable. I needed to finish a few things for a presentation and the internet sucked!

Very friendly staff snd very clean everything! We only spent one night but we will be back soon! Awesome coffee snd breakfast! Their shower gel products provided in the bathroom were 5 star quality! Thanks!

Only drawback was no vent fan in bathroom when taking a shower. Have to keep door open so not so steamy when showering.

The rooms were very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was really good as well.

Some things were a bit dated but still nice. While the breakfast was really good, the scrambled eggs looked overly wet and unappetizing.
